The problem I'm having is the column doesn't exist - I tried moving columns
around thinking it might be sandwiched between two others, but no luck.
I may try reverting back to the previous version, the download V5.5.5 again
and see what happens.

Today I worked ZD9GI, logged him and it updated the RAT with ZD9 worked. Seeing as ZD9GI does not usually work CW, I was suspicious and did some research. It most certainly was a pirate, so I commented out the DXK log entry with a ! and clicked Save. It gave some sort of message similar to "The Real Time Award Marathon table does not have an entry for 0" (I didn't note the exact wording, but that is close.)

I can't get rid of ZD9 showing as worked in the RAT window. Progress reports generated from it or from the Check Progress tab are good (no ZD9 shows there.) Is there something set in another place that would be "sticking" in the RAT window?

Stopping and restarting DXK doesn't seem to fix it. I could try deleting the !ZD9GI entry all together, but I like to keep track of pirate activity to establish patterns, etc.

I'm not sure if this just started or not, but I frequently hear an announcement like "on 30m cw" as opposed to "united states on 30m cw".. It most often is a us station but I've seen it drop slovak republic as well..
I have the Announced column visible and the spots show as announced.. I do have skimmer spots coming in from ve7cc but the spot database is < 15k entries, and there arent a lot of spots coming in (with the need filter off I'm seeing 1 every 8-10 seconds)..

I turned on SC debugging and patiently waited til I got a broken spot; In this case KB6NU is announcing but note the country wave didnt get Queue'd..
Have I got something mis configured??

No, i'm not using the Main window's Log QSOs tab for logging QSOs in real time.
They were just suggestions to make more practical the use of the main Log Window in the presence of a single monitor.

3) I feel the need to mark a "QSL Sent Via" with a new Letter "O". This in
order to mark those QSL requested via OQRS. Nowadays the OnLine QSL Request
System is being increasingly used. It would be importanto for me to identify
QSLs requested using OQRS.

ADIF does not define 'O' as a legal value for "QSL Sent Via"; I suggest

that you use 'E' for this purpose.

I was not aware of this. I'll certainly use "E"

4) I'd like to see the "Call" field in the QSL Main Area with a bold font
and with a Dark Blue color in order to immediatly indentify this primary
info during Edit operation or QSO insert.

5) In the QSO Main Area i've noted that some fields are too wide. On the
oter hand some are too small.
I suggest to shorten these fields:

QTH
TX Freq
RX Freq,
Entity
Begin
End

and to enlarge:
Name

I realize that enlarging the fields "Via", "Tx Band" and "DXCC" has not
sense but i find the "Name" field too small.

Everyone has different preferences for the widths and positions of the

text boxes and selectors. If I change them to satisfy one request, there'll
be a deluge of new requests, many of them conflicting. Making it so that
users can re-arrange the boxes and selectors with whatever widths and
positions they like is technically feasible, but would consume significant
development time at the expense of new capabilities of higher priority, and
make DXKeeper more difficult to learn, document, test, and support. Thus I
do not expect any change in this area.

You are absolutely right. These were my first things I felt the need. Three years on a different Log Software with a different interface leave their mark!

Looking to your recently posted help:Filtering the Log Page Display with SQL,i thought all my problems about editing a SQL would be wiped out.When reading it (as downloaded) it was very interesting to me.
I decided to print it,and join it into my <DX-lab-Map>.
But again,a strange fenomena occurred.About 90% of the text is printed well.Starting at the 2nd page,especially in the tabel:Comparison Operator/Meaning/Example,in the printed version i see only numbers and a fat-printed sort of BARCODE.(II I I I I II etc.)
What could be the reason of this?I use a nearly new HP laptop,running XP-pro,but our keyboard ia <AZERTY> and not QUERTY as usually used in USA.
Any thought?

For all of the new digital data modes, you must do this so that LoTW
knows what mode you are uploading.
Go to TQSL
go to FILE>PREFERENCES>ADIF MODES
click on Add
in the ADIF Mode box ... enter Contestia (or any other new mode)
then click on DATA
you will see it entered into the 'Resulting TQSL mode list

Each time you begin using a new digital mode, you must do this for each
of these modes you are going to upload a qso for to LoTW.
I just entered all the new modes I knew about at one time, even though I
may not ever use them.
that way I wouldn't forget and try to upload a qso and get the error
message.

Remember each variant of a mode, just as FSK31 and FSK441 are different
and require their own entries.

The problem occurs when i start the HRD Logbook, wich i need because i run DM780 with the bridge to DXK.

In the HRDLogbook i don't have a cluster connected.

I think i found somthing what causing the trouble about connect -disconnect.

I use DM780 with DXLab.
So i also have to open de HRD logbook to use with DM780.
When i open the logbook i get that problem with connecting and disconnecting the cluster, even i don't have any DXCluster open in the HRD Logbook.

I tried to upload it and LotW wouldn’t accept it.
Do I just use the Digital mode? Or???

Can someone help with this. I would like to generate a BAND report that gives me the FIRST QSO for each DXCC entity that I have worked on each band. Similarly ofor MIXED...the first time each DXCC I D was worked.

Is there a script ? that can be written for this? What is the best way to do this?

I am unable to get a .wav file to play with WinWarbler macros in Phone Mode. The message returned is "attempt to play C:&#92;DXLab&#92;WinWarbler&#92;Phone&#92;cqtest.wma on soundcard 5 failed: (257), Invalid MCI device ID. Use the ID returned when opening the MCI device." The macro is <start><play: CQtest.wma><stop>. I have tried two of the three installed sounds cards with no success. The K3 enters transmit for an instant and then returns to receive.

The radio is a K3 and CW macros work fine via Commander CAT control.

The soundcard I am trying to use is an M-Audio Delta 1010LT which works fine with DM-780.

The operating system is Win 7 64 bit Home.

Any help will be most appreciated!

Hi Dave,

Your implementation of real-time tracking for the CQ Marathon has sparked an interest in casually pursuing it. Great job! I saw the instruction on how to suppress CQ Marathon Audio announcements but I didn't see where I could suppress the Font Colors changes for needed Marathon spots so as not to mask my REAL DXCC NEEDS. Is this possible?
