Art I’m using Microsoft security and have had no problems with it fussing about the programs.  If you haven’t you might want to add the DXLab programs to the exclusion list that is part of the security program and that might correct the problem.  Good luck.

Dave,

I am using windows security and was wondering is there another virus scanner I should be using?
Never have contacted Microsoft for anything so not sure how to contact the correct person.
Is there away to use the DXLab program without going to the trouble dealing with Microsoft?

We can use 60m in France since 1 month.

On DX-Viewwindow , should it be possible to have a 60m column ?

+ DXView's Progress panel displays realtime-time award tracking for the DXCC award family. 60m QSOs are not valid for DXCC.

+ Extending DXLab applications to include 60m QSOs in their realtime DXCC award tracking statistics would mean that these statistics would be inconsistent with DXCC statistics from the ARRL. The result would be user confusion.

Hello Dave

We can use 60m in France since 1 month.

On DX-Viewwindow , should it be possible to have a 60m column ?
By entering a caal-sign on Dx-View, we could see if the country is already contacted or not.

I know that there is no DXCC on 60m, but we try to contact as much country as possible.

Many thanks

Opened up DXLab and Trojan: Win32/AZden.B!cl pop up.
It only affected Commander and Winwarbler.
Tried to quarantine but each time I would try to open Commander and Winwarbler it would block the process.
Commander and Winwarbler are not installed now. When I try to install through DXLab Launcher This trojan blocks the process.
Also these two programs are not in Launchers WS.

+ That's a false positive; see for yourself:

<https://www.dxlabsuite.com/dxlabwiki/FalsePositive>

How can I fix this?

+ Contact the provider of your anti-malware application.

just joined this list, and here goes a request for JCC/JCG database update request.

One of the towns in Japan has met a city criteria, resulted as a deletion of a Gun (JA's county) and a birth of a new city.

Deleted (Sept 30, 2018): Tsukushi(gun), JCG #40010 Born (Oct 1, 2018): Nakagawa(city), JCC #4037

+ Referring to JARL's JCG list in

<https://www.jarl.org/English/4_Library/A-4-2_Awards/Award_Main.htm>

+ JCG# 40010 (spelled "Chickushi") is not shown as deleted.

I noticed this Nakagawa city is missing from the database while I was syncing DX keeper QSO records with another log app.

+ Nakagawa is indeed shown in JARL's JCC List

+ but is missing from DXKeeper's Secondary Subdivision Database. I have updated the Secondary Subdivision Database to include
Nakagawa.

+ I have sent you an updated Secondary Subdivision Database that includes Nakagawa. Please let me know how it goes.

One of the first things I did was using several Icom Receiver CI-V connections with the Hex code 9C from the used R30 and set the speed, port and handshakes as they should. No luck. I have read the Icom manual with the CI-V control specifics before starting the tests.

Not a fix but a workaround - use SmartCAT to create and open a CAT port and set Commander to that port with the radio selection set to KENWOOD.

+ Having Commander treat SmartSDR as a Kenwood transceiver provides only basic functionality, like frequency/mode tracking and control. Better than nothing, but...

I don’t recall when this started but I do know that I noticed it while using WSJT-X doing FT-8. I configured the program to depend on commander to operate when I made settings to WSJT-X. I went to change bands and commander was frozen and would not   recognize the band change. Since then it seems like it times out and freezes even when I’m not doing FT 8. It doesn’t matter weather I’m receiving or transmitting or what mode I’m in, it freezes.

Thanks for sticking with me on this, I really appreciate it.  It doesn't matter if I'm transmitting or receiving, it just does it. I have been using the DX Lab suite for a couple of years now and this just started last month.

+ Do you recall the specific day on which this failure first occurred? If so, what changes were made to your hardware or software at that time?

* Is there an errorlog.txt file in your Commander folder? If so, please attach it to an email message, and send the message to me via

I uploaded some Q's to LotW earlier and noticed the LotW sent on the Log QSOs tab had a U in the drop down box. The QSL sent key on the right side of the window doesn't have U, but I assume U means uploaded?

aside from the request, having been annoyed by the broken data alert regarding a QSL from US indepent city. Searching the past log
showed me that the possible cure for this would be to give the record a nearby county name/number. Is this right?

+ Yes, as explained in
