Anyone using the Secondary CAT Serial Port in Commander to interface with Acom's 600S, 700S, or 1200S solid state amplifiers?

+ I use the Secondary CAT port to interface with my SPE 2K-FA, emulating the Kenwood CAT protocol. Which CAT protocols can the Acom amps monitor?

However, if I want to start only Commander (say, for testing purposes), Launcher in its "automatic start" configuration is cumbersome because it starts everything (i.e., everything it is configured to start). On my computer, Launcher takes 25+ seconds to get everything going and 20+ seconds to shut everything down. Inconvenient if testing only one member of the suite. This is the reason I was looking for Commander in the Windows Start menu dropdown. Is it practical for to get Commander to show up in the Windows Start menu dropdown?

+ Yes:

<https://www.dummies.com/computers/operating-systems/windows-10/how-to-add-or-remove-start-menu-items-in-windows-10/>

+ Alternatively, you could pin Commander on the Windows Task Bar, or add a Commander icon to the Windows desktop.

Another question: The help page
"file:///C:/DXLab/Launcher/Help/ControllingApplications.htm" has a section named "Group Control Buttons". That section indicates an Abort button is included in Launcher, along with Start, Minimize, Restore and Terminate. My Launcher (2.1.2) window does not have the Abort button.
Should the Abort button be there?

+ The Abort button appears when you click the Start button, replacing the Start button until all enabled applications have reported themselves as "running". Then the Abort button is replaced by the Start button.

In commander, in netserv.

* Commander stores those settings in the Windows Registry between sessions; I just tested it to confirm correct operation. There have been no changes in this area of Commander for years.

* Do you have a Workspace defined? If so, are you restoring settings from that Workspace on startup?
Yes

Likely a false positive from your anti-virus. Lots of threads about them the last few days.

Check your anti-virus to see if it has quarantined it, where you can likely reverse the quarantine and add an exception for DX Lab stuff.

Click on  Windows security, Virus and threat protection, manage settings, add or remove exclusions, then add an exclusion, folder, then select dxlab. Save settings and your troubles with false positives with  dxlab is over !

I just tried to upgrade Commander to the latest version and it's telling me it can't because the Commander.exe does not exist. This is after I followed the directions suggested to exclude it from being quarantined by Windows Defender. Now what do I do?
