Importing records from the ARRL DXCC records did not set my "STATION_CALLSIGN" TO AA4M.  I've dug in the DXKeeper helps but can only see how to display records, not change them.  While at it I'd also like to put my call in the OPERATOR and OWNER_CALLSIGN fields.  How do I do this?

Thanks, Bill  AA4M

Unfortunate that screenshots aren't conveyed. Is there an alternate way to link to screen shots?

+ Thanks for the information, Roland.

+ The DXLab Discussion Group is a free Groups.io account, which means that file storage space is limited. Screenshots contained in messages "count" against this limit; if they were permitted, I would be forced to spend time continuously seeking and deleting obsolete screen shots to prevent exhaustion of our space allocation. Every DXLab application includes a diagnostic errorlogging mechanism that over the past 20 years has proven generally superior to screen shots, as it captures and records dynamic behavior.

+ Since you took the trouble to make them, please attach your screen shots to an email message, and send the message to me via

Recently set up DXLab and imported my previous log. All was well. Haven't set up the JTAlert to magically insert FT8 QSO's into the Keeper log.

So, I made a couple of FT8 QSO's this evening to verify that I had that set up correctly and then did an import of the WSJT-X adi log. Unexpectedly, it imported some 445 duplicates but didn't import another 226 duplicates. The two I expected to be imported were.

Attached are screenshots.

ImportQSOConfig.png shows how I configured the ImportQSO's. The DXLabKeeper.png shows one of the 445 imports that is a duplicate.

What did I do wrong?

Hallo Dave thank you very much for your quick answer, I have a better understanding of what I need to do.
What I still don’t see is this I have a ham call on cd need to install on hard drive, where???
C:\ call ham. Or in some other folder or where?

+ You can put it anywhere, so long as DXKeeper can access the file it after you configure it to do so.

+ Puttingi it in

C:\HamCall

+ would be fine.

 Hallo
Mine name is Ziggy and call is KZ9DX.

+ Welcome to DXLab, Ziggy!

I am a new to dxkeeper like two weeks, at this point I am running, Luncher , Dxkeeper, and pathfinder, appears no problem with logging, but I don’t understand somethings like.
Where on Pc I instal ham call data , and tell dxkeeper where to look for that data.

+ That's explained in the "Configuring DXKeeper to use a Callbook CD-ROM" section of

<https://www.dxlabsuite.com/dxlabwiki/CallbookLookup>

+ Additional information is provided here:

<https://www.dxlabsuite.com/dxkeeper/Help/Configuration.htm#Callbook%20Tab>

One more question .
Mine previews QSO,s are recorded on different log , that log can convert all is content to ADIF format .
All QSO are on LOTW. Updated in the log all confirm contacts, all DXCC awards, WAS .
All this is in ADIF conversion , I want to import all that to Dxkeeper.
Will dxkeeper give me a credit for all this in its award tracking program,

+ DXKeeper will do that if the "award credit" information is included in the ADIF file generated by your current logging application. I suggest that before proceeding, you review this article:

<https://www.dxlabsuite.com/dxlabwiki/SwitchingToDXKeeper>

What it will happen if after import I go to update from LOTW

+ That depends on what information your previous logging application included in the ADIF file it generated. If LoTW status (acceptance, confirmation, credit) is included, then DXKeeper will incorporate it; otherwise, you'll need to sync your log with LoTW; see the article referenced in step 10 of the above article.

please keep in mind I have about 68K of QSO, should I import all at one time or split into smaller files.

+ There is no reason to split your ADIF file into multiple smaller files.

Questions might seem a bit crazy, I know to ask a question, because I have enough knowledge about Pc to be dangerous, and don’t want to create more problem for mine self than needs to be

+ All questions are welcome in the DXLab Discussion Group, no matter how many times they've already been asked and answered, or how obvious the answers might be in the documentation.

Hi Dave I was wondering if this requested feature made the todo list, or got assigned to the bit bucket?

+ It's on the list, Art.

+ Testing the expansion of WinWarbler's built-in CW generator to handle international Morse code characters exposed several long-latent defects, making this effort take longer than expected, and delaying everything else in the "new development" queue behind it.

QRRE: [DXLab] Export QSOs / LoTWs R vs U

Dave AA6YQ

Here's a question for you, I sometimes click on Export QSO's in DXK so I can have a file to upload to clublog and others.

+ DXKeeper provides automation for submitting QSOs to Club Log so that you need not manually export. See

<https://www.dxlabsuite.com/dxlabwiki/QSLingClubLog

If I do this first before I click "Add Requested", then my log book shows my new QSO's marked as uploaded and then they won't appear in the box for "Add Requested". I was able to correct the column to revert back to "R" so that I could properly upload all the new QSO's to LoTW.

+ The behavior of the "Add Requested" function on the Main window's QSL tab changes as a function of that tab's "QSL Via" panel:

- if the "QSL Via" panel is set to cards, labels, ADIF file, or tab-delimited file, then the QSL Queue will be populated with all QSOs whose "QSL Sent" item has been set to 'R', meaning "my QSO partner has requested a QSL card"; if you want to generate an outgoing QSL card for every QSO, you can configure DXKeeper to automatically set each new QSO's "QSL Sent" item to 'R'.

- if the "QSL Via" panel is set to LoTW, then the QSL Queue will be populated with all QSOs whose "LoTW QSL Sent" item has been set to 'R'. Since it's good practice to submit all QSOs to LoTW, DXKeeper's option to automatically set each new QSO's "LoTW QSL Sent" item to 'R' defaults at installation to enabled.

- if the "QSL Via" panel is set to eQSL.cc, then the QSL Queue will be populated with all QSOs whose "eQSL QSL Sent" item has been set to 'R'. Since it's good practice to submit all QSOs to eQSL.cc, DXKeeper's option to automatically set each new QSO's "eQSL QSL Sent" item to 'R' defaults at installation to enabled.

So the question is: Is this a bug or is it supposed to be this way?

+ The "Add Requested" function plays no role in submitting QSOs to Club Log. I suggest that you employ DXKeeper's Club Log automation, as described in the first article cited above.

+ To submit QSOs to an online service other than Club Log, eQSL, or LoTW -- like QRZ.com,

1. type the last date and time which you submitted QSOs to that service into the Filter panel at the bottom of the Main window's "Log QSOs" tab, and then click that panel's Since button to filter the Log Page Display to contain only QSOs logged after the last time you submitted QSOs to that service

2. Select the Main window's Export tab; when asked if you wish to remove the Log Page Display filter, click the no button; then initiate an ADIF export, as described in

<https://www.dxlabsuite.com/dxlabwiki/QSOExport>

3. record the date and time for use when you next submit QSOs to this service

+ Alternatively, you can use Volker DL9HO's "Log Publisher" add-in:

<http://www.dl9ho.de/LogPublisher/LogPublisher.htm>
