Re: TS-590SG WinWarbler & FSK

Can a TS-590SG transmit FSK using WinWarbler without an interface.
+ No, you need an external interface to drive pin 2 of backpanel connector ACC2.

TS-590SG WinWarbler & FSK
Can a TS-590SG transmit FSK using WinWarbler without an interface. I can copy FSK just fine without one, but transmit is only unmodulated tone.

Re: IOTA Errors
Dave,
When I went to check DXView, it said that there was a new version of the IOTA database, v1.2.7. I had v1.2.0.
After the update & a recompute, all is okay now. Thanks.

Re: Modifying existing DXKeeper log data by use of ADIF file.
The bigger question is why one would need a "Verified" status for any
WAS award. Unlike DXCC (or IOTA) which are progressive and one can
add credits to an existing award or use previously granted

Old spots
Is there any way that when first started Spot Collector can get spots from sources that are 30 minutes to an hour old and populate its database?

Using the Grid information sent by an /AM station shouldn't be trusted as the flight will be crossing grid boundaries at a fair rate (unless it is a balloon, but how do you know?). For /MM and /AM

Re: spot collector
Spot Collector is always the last to load.. which has the most data to load.
A minute is not un normal.
all depends on log size or date it need to crunch and the speed of your cpu chip.

That will only be partially correct as it will not identify VE or
XE stations in the "border grids" (those grids partially in the
US and partially in VE or XE).
