CW and SSB have entries in Spotcollector's "Sub-band Definition" file.
Unless you have modified your definition file or downloaded an update,
FT8 and other "new" modes will not be properly identified

Thanks but I am still a bit confused as this only occurs with FT8 spots. I never have had an issue with SSB or CW QSOs displaying the proper mode in the SPotcollector "Mode" column.

Hi Paul,
the contents of a DX Cluster spot do not include any mode field, either the notes must contain an unambiguous reference to the mode, or in the case of SpotCollector you must have a sub-bands

Occasionally I will spot QSOs in Spotcollector but recently I spotted two FT8 QSOs and one showed up as RTTY and the other as CW when both were FT8. I right-clicked each time on Each of the QSOs and

I unchecked the "suppress" option and did a cold re-boot of the computer. Now, the rig goes into transmit and receive as it

There are no errors reported in Event Viewer - just some ESENT warnings (Apparently a bug in Windows) and DCOM warnings (Inherent to Windows program) which only occur at startup. Otherwise
