Thanks Dave......I would like to respectfully suggest/request that you consider adding CONTACT to Dxkeeper so when a qso is logged, Qsorder can automagically record just the qso, as it does with N1MM. + Added to DXKeeper's Enhancement list; it's #2452 in https://www.dxlabsuite.com/dxkeeper/enhancements.htm Now, even if configured for AUTO, if you spend 20-30 minutes in a pileup, all that audio is recorded. Also QSOrder stamps the file name with the other stations callsign, making it easier to find, as opposed to date/time file name. Just a thought.... + With the "Automatically start and stop recording" option enabled, DXKeeper saves the captured audio in a file whose name includes the QSO's callsign, date, and time. + DXKeeper automatically logs the full pathname of the captured audio file in the QSO's "audio file" item. Double-clicking a logged QSO's "audio file" item plays that QSO's recorded audio. + Thus you can access captured audio files either via Windows Explorer, or by using all of DXKeeper's filtering capabilities. + While recording the last X seconds of every QSO may be appropriate while contesting, most DXers who have weighed in on the topic would prefer to record the entire QSO. In the unusual case where the recorded audio contains significantly more content than necessary, it can easily be removed with the free-ware Audacity editor: https://www.audacityteam.org/ 73, Dave, AA6YQ

Somehow the box for "look up missing location information" on the general tab of the SC configuration became unchecked. I rechecked it and recomputed. It seems to be working again. Not sure how it got unchecked.

Actually, the SQL query is: <NeedFilter> and ((SPProb>50) or (LPProb>50)) and (mode='cw') - I copied the wrong one. Neither the SPProb nor the LPProb has any information in it. I didn't change anything, it just stopped making that calculation. I suspect all I need to do is turn it back on, but I don't know how. The last (most recent) station that came up in response to this query is dated 9/28/2022. + The "Propagation Prediction" panel on the General tab of SpotCollector's Configuration window governs the automatic generation of propagation forecasts for some or all Spot Database Entries. Re: Distorted audio using WinWarbler and Flex 6400

Phone Transmission is set to: DAX Audio TX (FlexRadio Systems + That's correct. I read through the instructions. Changing the audio levels increase or decrease the audio volume however the distortion is still there. The distortion seems to be the same regardless of how I adjust the levels. + WinWarbler uses a standard Windows mechanism to "play" audio files on the selected soundcard. I just directed WinWarbler to "play" my callsign via my Flex 6500's " DAX Audio TX" while listening on my IC-7800; there was no distortion. No one else has reported distortion with their FlexRadio or any other radio. + I suggest that you contact FlexRadio support. 73, Dave, AA6YQ

I was looking for a way to change the Band Modes to separate FT-8, etc. in SpotCollector. In doing a search of the SpotCollector File I found "BandModes 2022-01-06" It works very well separating all Band/Modes... + Glad to hear it, Rick. The mechanism is straightforward, but here's the documentation: https://www.dxlabsuite.com/spotcollector/Help/ConfigurationGeneral.htm#Sub-band%20Definition%20panel 73, Dave, AA6YQ

Re: how to
Dave AA6YQ

is there a way to using spot collector to right click on a callsign and read the radio and enter it into the capture field or log it, if i double click on a call it puts the frequency received thru spots into my log and not the freq i used to contact them. + If there's a Spot Database Entry for P5DX on 14005 in CW and you double-click that Entry, the Capture window's Call box will be set to P5DX, and (with Commander running) your radio will be QSY'd to 14005 and its mode set to CW; the Capture window's mode , "tx freq", and "rx freq" boxes will be updated to CW and 14005 respectively. If you subsequently QSY - via your radio's front panel or via Commander's Main window - the Capture window's "tx freq", and "rx freq" boxes will be updated in real time in order to record the correction information when you click the Capture window's Log button. + There is no action that will populate the Capture window's Call box with a Spot Database Entry's callsign without causing the Capture window to track the radio's frequency and mode via Commander. Usually, one double-clicks the Spot Database Entry for a station one wants to work, subsequently adjusting the transceiver's frequency if necessary (e.g. if the Entry's station is working split) before logging the QSO; one does not work a station and then double-click it's Spot Database Entry to populate the Capture window's Call box. 73, Dave, AA6YQ

Re: how to
Ken Bandy, KJ9B
Are you using Commander for rig control, George? If so, by double-clicking on the call you want to work in Spot Collector, the capture window of DXKeeper will be populated with your radio's VFO frequency, after it tunes to the frequency spotted in Spot Collector.
