WinWarbler Pri sub - State
jetandkelly
Has anyone noticed in WinWarbler when you click on a call sign info about Pri Sub and or State does not change correctly? To duplicate this:
1) Make sure all info is cleared, by clicking on the X in WinWarbler 2) Click on any call sign in any of the receive windows 3) Notice the info up top changes as well as DXView 4) Now start click on different call signs in different receive windows or new call signs in the same window. Notice how Pri sub and or State does not always follow correctly? This is especially noticeable when selecting state side calls.

screen real estate. But 2 20" monitors provide a lot more space. Most modern video cards do allow for dual monitors often one digital and one analog and your screen can be extended across both monitors. Most modern flat panel monitors can be configured for either digital or analog input and come with both cables. So, it's pretty simple to set up for one analog and one digital monitor. The set up I use has one 22" wide screen monitor configured for digital input and one 19" 4:3 monitor configured for analog input. My video card is an ATI 3400 series which came standard on a DELL Vostro 420. That's fairly low end as far as graphics cards go (that is it's not a super high speed gamers card) but it works great for my purposes. 73, Rich - W3ZJ Hank wrote:

Re: VE7CC-1 spot source not "on" in Spot Collectro
Douglas Smith
You mention CC User. That's a program that, among other things, passes spots through to a logger, including DX Lab Suite. While it is written by VE7CC, it can connect with any node, including VE7CC-1 CC Cluster node, and pass its spots.
If that's what you're doing, your settings in CC User should be as follows: Configuration - Ports/Logging Program/Logging Program Connection: check the Telnet box and click on the Use Port 7300 button. Check the appropriate boxes in the Data Sent to Logging Program box on the same screen Be sure to check "Live Spot Format" and NOT "DX Tab Format" (the latter will not pass spots that DX Lab Suite will see!). If you want detailed instructions, email me off list. I prepared exhaustive step by step instructions for a local club presentation on the VE7CC User software. If you're using VE7CC-1 CC Cluster as a node, feeding spots directly from it to DX Lab Suite, then the address of the node is ve7cc.net, NOT VE7CC-1. Specify port 23, not port 7300. In this configuration, you are using DX Lab Suite to filter the spots and VE7CC-1 as raw input of spot data. If you use the CC User program, it can be the "front end" for DX Lab Suite, as the only filter, or as a prefilter or in conjunction with filter settings in DX Lab Suite as you deem appropriate. Hope this is helpful. 73, Doug W7ZZ

An earlier setup with four monitors used four separate single monitor video cards. That one was a little tricky to configure the hardware plus it used up all my expansion slots.
