Dave, I did a submittal again today and did not see that problem. It turns out that I was not in the VU4W log so I had to delete the contact anyway. A LoTW "Add Requested" worked fine with a few new

Callsigns ending in -# as the source are "Skimmers"
You can not prevent them from spotting your callsign. However,
if you do not want to see spots from skimmers you can:
1) enable prefiltering

Yes, but I seldom use the PC with other applications. Mostly Firefox and YouTube, and no problems with these so far.
