Update: I rebooted Windows 10/64 into 'Safe Mode with Networking' and the problem still persisted. Upon restarting the PC normally, the problem no longer existed although the root cause remains

Without computer access when operating portable on Field Day, I recorded my QSOs on paper, and now I'm going to enter them in DXKeeper with the "Optimize for real-time QSO entry" option NOT
