Update: I rebooted Windows 10/64 into 'Safe Mode with Networking' and the problem still persisted. Upon restarting the PC normally, the problem no longer existed although the root cause remains

Without computer access when operating portable on Field Day, I recorded my QSOs on paper, and now I'm going to enter them in DXKeeper with the "Optimize for real-time QSO entry" option NOT

I think Dave has said I the past that Defender is all you need. All DXLabs applications are submitted to Microsoft so if Defender is up to date you will be assured it is not the cause of trouble. I

a fight between logger access to LOTW and anti-malware SW.
