If you look in window title it will tell you how many entries exist in SC DB. If you get a lot entries it can slow it down quite a bit especially if there are many incoming spots and you get

This is just naaasty!
I am certain that SpotCollector started doing that fairly recently; at least on my system.
Now does it so often that it is simply impossible to do anything while it is running;

I'm seeing the same response when I try to connect to that cluster. Either the N8DXE is down, or it's inaccessible.
This is one of the reasons why SpotCollector enables you to connect to 6 spot

How did I/we miss the note from ARRL that 2.2.2 had a bug not allowing updates? The direct download and install from ARRL worked.
