Save the QSO with the call sign 8J1OLYMPIC and set the “DCCC” to JD1-O and/or “Entity” to Ogasawara.

That will save all the pertinent data and the Call Sign will be searchable.

Yes. Get all your apps set up the way you want them for the first
mode, quit out of all but Launcher, then save the workspace. Load
everything back up (8 clicks if you have all apps going), set them all
up for the next mode, then repeat.

I find that having multiple workspaces requires a lot of attention to
detail. It all works great, but if you save settings at the wrong
point, you will be unhappy. :-)

But yes, you can.

There is no practical limit to how man workspaces you can make. Get your settings the way you wish for Say SSB, END ALL THE APPS, create the workspace with a MNEMONIC name. Works great.

Trying to Set WW Digi Contest Mode in DXK

I  am going to work a few FT4 stations in the WW Digi contest that is on this weekend.   I am using WSJTX and JTAlert.   JTAlert is sending logging info to DXK. I have set DXK for contest mode in the Config >  Contest tab. I have also set Contest ID to WW DIGI and tx # to FM05.  However this information is not showing in the DXK log entry after I have worked a station.

Due to the fact that reading in JARL Awards Program website the following note:

❉ Note
      1. Please note that you don't need to send the QSL cards.
      2. eQSL ▪▪▪ If you can print received eQSL, we can accept it.
      3. LoTW ▪▪▪ Sorry. You can not use LOTW QSLs.

I’m wondering why in DxKeeper/Check_Progress/JARL_Progress_report, the reports are having also the column re. LoTW (whose confirmations are not accepted by JARL) and that in a way are misleading the possible submission report to JARL.

Furthermore the LoTW confirmations are considered in the total confirmed Guns, cities, etc.

Therefore, in my opinion, the sorting should only consider the confirmations by cards, and at a second further level the eQSL confirmations, forgetting (at least for possible submission) the LoTW confirmations.

Is it possible to download qsos from LOTW to DXKeeper?

+ No; there is no reason to do so, and there is good reason to not do so: LoTW only retains minimal information for each QSO,

I and another ham make contacts with a club call. We both upload them to the club's lotw account.

+ Do you log these QSOs in DXKeeper and have DXKeeper submit them to LoTW?

When I upload qsos, his logging software detects them when he syncs lotw qsls and allows him to download the qsos I made to his log.

+ If the QSOs are already present in his logging software, then downloading them from LoTW would create duplicates. All that's necessary is to mark the logged QSOs in question as accepted and confirmed.

I don't think DXkeeper has this feature  so I opened our lotw account and looked for a way to download the latest qsos but only see a way to download the latest qsls. Maybe I need to post this to the lotw group but thought maybe someone here could help me

+ You can direct LoTW to download an ADIF file containing a subset of QSOs in an LoTW account, but I do not understand why anyone would do this unless they are to replace lost QSOs that cannot be recovered from any other source (like a backup file); see

https://www.rickmurphy.net/lotwquery.html

I track Fields for the CQ Field award and have 240 submitted and DXL says I have 245 worked and 245 confirmed. How do I track those submitted?

+ DXLab provides no automation for the CQ Field award besides a progress report.

Would it be possible to add Field Vfy in the QSL section? I could use a field I don't track and write a SQL to give me the count I guess???

+ I suggest that you employ a user-defined field for this purpose. Filtering the Log Page Display based on the state of this field will give you a count of QSOs that have been submitted for CQ Field award credit, or that have received CQ Field award credit.

I had the same situation (Progress bar window not showing, etc as Chuck described) so I tried your suggestion as described here. When I clicked the "Reset" button, it brought up maybe 10+ different windows that had been hidden. I closed with the "X" in each upper right corner. Then ran a log synch with LOTW and the progress bar appeared as it used to do. I was just surprised at how many hidden windows there were on my system. Any thots?

+ Yes, DXKeeper employs a lot of windows. They're generally not all visible simultaneously.

There are two controllers, that i know of, that come with an ethernet port that allows the controller to be controlled via this method. They are the MicroHAM ARCO Rotor controller that comes with every brand and model of rotor already preprogramed and the Rotator Genius by AO3A that has the ability to be programed to support any available rotor. My guess that these are just the first of many more that will be coming on the market. Having this method of connection helps clean up the wiring maze that lives on my shack desk and makes control via remote access easier.

+ My experience in providing support for an Ethernet-based device like Flex Signature radios is that it's not practical without local access to a device. I'll see what can be arranged.
