Nothing.

Q65 is still "beta" (WSJTX 2.4.0 is a RELEASE CANDIDATE).

LotW has not added Q65 to its list of supported modes and it has not been added to the tQSL config file. The ADIF standards group had not announced a standard for Q65 (probably Mode=MFSK, SubMode= Q65).

Before WSJTX 2.4.0 is ready for General Release, I'm sure all of the pieces will be in place. In the meantime, map your Q65 QSOs to the generic DATA mode if you *must* upload right now.

Hello Friends,

I've been getting my feet wet with DXLab over the last few months and got everything installed and working well now.

I have not yet moved my log, but i believe I'm ready for the final step and to make the move now

I read the instructions on importing the ADIF and i assume DX4WIN exporting the log to ADIF should be straight forward also

I have one log for Qs i made with two call signs and four different QTHs.  I also have another log with different call and QTH.

Anything i should be aware of before i start the process?

+ AA6YQ comments below

I wasn't aware that there was a setting in Spotcollector to limit the size of the spots database.

+ That's documented here:

https://www.dxlabsuite.com/spotcollector/Help/SpotDatabase.htm#Pruning%20the%20Spot%20Database

My SC was taking an extremely long time to come up and was getting worse with time.

There is a setting in the Config window, on the "Spot Database" tab with a subpanel called "Size Control". Set this to prune entries after how ever many days you want (I chose 7 days) and told it to "Prune Database on startup".

Everything is running great now! By spot database had been accumulating for years and was at about 1.5 GB! This computer has a mechanical hard drive but a database THAT big would probably slow down a SSD noticeably, as well.

This was a very simple solution to a vexing problem. TNX to K4QE for coming up with this suggestion.

+ There are more performance-impacting factors than Spot Database Size. See "Optimizing SpotCollector's Performance" in

https://www.dxlabsuite.com/dxlabwiki/OptimizeSCPerformance

It's only been 24 hours, but using the HyGain selection in DXView instead of the Yaesu one has it working for me without any problems.

+ The Hygain and Yaesu rotor control protocols are different: the command to rotate a Yaesu rotator to heading XXX is MXXX<13>, but the command to rotate a Hygain rotator is AP1XXX;

+ Unless you have a rotator controller that automatically accepts both protocols, I don't understand how they could both work.

No doubt now I have thoroughly jinxed myself and it will stop working, locking up my computer... just as a New One starts calling CQ without any takers.

@ If that's the case, he should connect "SDR Console" to Commander's Secondary CAT port. That will eliminate the problem of two different applications trying to control the same transceiver via the same COM port.

Another thread about ports, but not the TCP/IP kind, the COM port kind
-- the Windows name for serial ports. Specifically, the fake kind created by a USB port's driver.

+ COM ports created by a device driver are real, they just don’t exchange data with a physical serial port.
If there is no 9- or 25-pin D-shell connector, it can't possibly be real! :-D

COMs 1-4 on my system are almost real - they connect to devices via
DE-9 connectors ... but they are all on a box that connects to the
legacy-free PC where DXLab lives. The rest are fake, like the ones
described, or the two that are buried inside the Arduino Nanos that
make up my two Morttys.

They were always abstractions by the OS, of course, regardless of the
physical connection.
