Based on this text from your link - When you direct DXKeeper to generate an outgoing DX spot from a logged QSO or from information in the Capture window, the QSO's mode is used to populate the outgoing spot's notes.

The mode should have been set to AM since it was listed that way in the capture window right?

+ Yes, if you initiated the outgoing spot by clicking the Capture window's Spot button. If you initiate the outgoing spot from the "Outgoing spot" panel at the top of SpotCollector's Main window, you must add the mode to the spot notes. before clicking the Cluster button.

What do you mean by "mode [...] set to AM" ?

dxsummit shows the following spots from you today. Which of them do
you consider to be incorrect, and how?

K4HYJ-@ 21074.7 FK8HA 22:06 06 Feb FT8 New Caledonia
K4HYJ-@ 21074.4 PY5EJ 21:54 06 Feb FT8 Brazil
K4HYJ-@ 21075.5 ZD8HZ 21:52 06 Feb FT8 Ascension Island
K4HYJ-@ 14330.0 K5TUE 20:57 06 Feb AM Rally United States
K4HYJ-@ 14330.0 W7A 20:37 06 Feb AM Rally United States
K4HYJ-@ 14330.0 W7A 20:37 06 Feb AM United States

If none of those, how did you observe the problem that you're reporting?

I'm sure I have a setting wrongly set.  I was participating in the AM Rally today and when sending spots to the cluster via CQDX they would report on the cluster as SSB when it was actually AM.  DXKeeper, Commander, all reported AM (radio is also in AM mode).

I spotted one station via DXKeeper Capture's button and the next one via the outgoing spot window in Spot Collector - they both showed up on the cluster as SSB stations.

Any advice?

Hi Iain.

Yes, GridTracker can also upload to several on line logs.  So you can wind up with 3 attempts if you are not careful.

The issue that I am experiencing is that after making a FT-8 contact, the QSO is successfully logged by Grid Tracker and DX Keeper.
However, in the case of DX Keeper after 30 seconds or so, I get an audible alert along with a pop up message indicating:

"DXKeeper CLub Log Upload

OK

I need to click on the "OK" button to close the pop up.

I have reviewed the DX Keeper related documentation and cannot seem to find a way to prevent this message from popping up.
I'm not familiar with Grid Tracker, but I know that JTAlert does have
the capability to automatically upload QSOs to Club Log, as does
DXKeeper. If JTAlert uploads the QSO first, then DXKeeper tries to
upload the same QSO, it will be a dup.

In JTAlert, it's configured under Settings -> Web Services -> Online
Logbooks -> ClubLog.org

In DXKeeper, "Auto upload" is configured under QSL Config -> Club Log

I don't know if Grid Tracker has yet another equivalent.

Only one should be enabled.

But he said it made no mention of SDR Console v3...so it wouldn't work? Something about ports or virtual ports. I'd like to put you two together, but don't want to even start it if it's not possible.

+ It' not possible to provide step-by-step instructions for every available panadaptor. The article you cite above shows 6 different topologies for using Commander's Secondary CAT port to interoperate with panadaptors and SDRs. This article provides instructions for interoperating with a panadaptor that uses OmniRig for transceiver control:

https://www.dxlabsuite.com/dxlabwiki/HDSDRCWSkimmerConfiguration

Combined with documentation provided by the panadaptor developers and a general understanding of CAT control, these have proven sufficient over the years. However, if you encounter and then resolve a roadblock not mentioned in these articles, please let me know and I will update them.

Hello Dave & the group,

Trying to use Spot Collector's "Special Call Signs" in an annual event.    Hit a speed bump.

I downloaded the newest list of calls, from G4FOC and stored the file.

Using Spot Collector's CONFIG button, I selected the "Special Call Signs" tab.

Clicked LOAD, and transferred the new member file into "Special Call Signs."  I could see the 1,500 calls listed.  Good.

Entered some calls to "test" using DXcapture.
Clicked LOOKUP, and the info from the Special Call Signs file can be seen in DXkeeper for those special calls.  Good.

THE ISSUE:  All new Members can be seen in a scroll of "Special Call Signs" in Spot Collector.   Good.
But, using DXcapture's LOOKUP:  these new calls get NO response from DXCapture's LOOKUP.   Nothing.

What am I doing wrong ?

EXPANDED ISSUE:  Using DXcapture LOOKUP, I tested  randomly-selected calls (not limited to the newest calls).
Some are NOT shown in DXkeeper, even tho' they are visible in the Special Call Signs list.

                               Corrective action, please.

+ As described in "Identifying and Logging QSOs with Club Members, Callsigns with Leaderboard Competitions, and other Special Callsigns"

https://www.dxlabsuite.com/dxlabwiki/IdentifyLogClubMembers

+ If a callsign's Entry in the "Special Callsign List" includes one or more tags, and if the "Log Special Callsign Tags" option is enabled on the General tab of DXKeeper's Configuration window, then when you enter a special Callsign in the Capture window and strike the Enter or Tab key, the Capture window's Comments item will be populated with the tag(s).

+ It should never be necessary to "relog" a QSO. Here's how DXLab supports uploading to Club log:

+ You can configure DXLab to automatically upload each newly-logged QSO to Club Log. This sets that QSO's "Club Log" item to 'Y', meaning "uploaded to Club Log"

+ If you modify a logged QSO's Entity, Frequency, Band, Mode, Date, Time, Propagation Mode, "QSL Rcvd", or "LoTW QSL Rcvd" items, that QSO's "Club Log" item will be set to 'M' (meaning "modified since last uploaded to Club Log")

+ If you click the Upload button in the "Club Log" panel in the lower-left corner of the Main window's "Check Progress" tab, then all logged QSOs that have never been uploaded to Club Log ("Club Log" item is blank), and all QSOs that have been modified since last being uploaded to Club Log ("Club Log" item is 'M') will be uploaded to Club Log.

+ Additional information is available here:
