Tnx for the info.
I went to the page on removing duplicate QSOs and was OK up to item 6.b. I
found the APP_DXXKEEPER_SELECT but then ran into problems of what to do. Do
I select " ", "Y", or "N". Once I do that, how do I add that column to
Log Page Display?
Thanks.

After doing a contest using n1mm+, I normally upload an adif file to DXLabs,
usually a fairly short one, i.e. one from one of the CWTs. Sometimes I
upload the same file twice by mistake and then have to delete the duplicate
QSOs individually. When it's a small file, it's OK but when it gets into
the 100+ QSO range it's a PITA. Is there a way to eliminate duplicate QSOs
in one quick pass?
It gets complicated in that I also upload the file to LotW and some of the
QSOs will have LotW QSLs so I need to remove the QSO that does not have that
QSL info.

+ See " Removing Duplicate QSOs from the Currently Open Log" in

https://www.dxlabsuite.com/dxlabwiki/RemovingDuplicates

I realize that I can set the import to not allow any duplicate QSOs but
sometimes that can be self-defeating as well.

+ In what way is configuring the "Import QSOs" function to prevent duplicate
QSOs "self-defeating"?

Ok, will try that but it would be easier for me if Commander can do this in Realtime. Maybe a suggestion for future releases.

+ I make a point of never compensating for defects or functional omissions in other applications, as doing so would send the wrong message to their developers. It would take ~30 minutes to develop, test, and document an "offset" option in SDR Console.

+ If you're using Commander to control your radio, perhaps its Transverter support could be used to compensate. See

Perhaps you can use the "Transverters" tab in Commander's
Config dialog. Try setting 23cm to subtract 8089.5 MHz
from the frequency reported by SDR Console.

It is possible to accomplish the same thing by right-clicking in that
cell and selecting "Paste Special..." from the context menu, but the
documented procedure does work (for me), and I feel that
right-clicking is more error-prone, since your pointer must be placed
correctly when you click, and it may be less obvious if you "miss".

I'm not really sure where Tony was going wrong. It may or may not help
to replace steps 2a, 2b in the instructions with something like:

...
* Ensure that the spreadsheet is scrolled all the way to the top,
such that the row for the first entity ("1A0" or similar) is visible
* Select the "DAY" cell within that row, by left-clicking it (it
should become highlighted with a heavier border). In the 2021
template, this is cell D17, but it may vary from year to year.
* From the "Edit" menu (in the menu bar at the top of the window),
select "Paste Special..."
...

Tony, would you be willing to go through the procedure again, and see
if the above helps?

Not sure if I saw a definitive answer to Anthony's question. I know when I have had this issue it was because I forgot to save the scoresheet I downloaded from the DX Marathon website as "K2JL DX Marathon Scoresheet 2020.xls" or something similar. The original file is downloaded as read-only and needs to be opened and saved as a unique file. Then, the scoresheet fills beautifully when invoking the Submission command.

The procedure that I documented, includes these steps:

* Click in the cell for the Day column of the first entity in the table
* From the Edit menu, select Paste Special...

I tested this again, and it still works for me - I left-clicked in
cell D17 (the "DAY" column for the "1A0" entity row), then selected
"Paste Special..." from the "Edit" menu in the menu bar at the top.
Note that I deliberately avoided mentioning specific cells (e.g.
"D17") in the instructions, since I felt that that could easily change
from year to year (there's a new template for each year).

It is possible to accomplish the same thing by right-clicking in that
cell and selecting "Paste Special..." from the context menu, but the

I've been testing WSJT-X v2.3.0-rc2 and have been recording this error in SC_WSJTX_Errorlog.txt
I have not been able to duplicate this error in General Availability (GA) release:  WSJT-X 2.2.2
The error appears to be generated when I click "Log QSO" in WSJT-X and the handoff begins to DXLab.
The QSO still gets logged and I see no ill-effects form this error, but, thought I would share in case other users see it.
#WSJT-X #beta

+ Matt, I've sent you and Dan KI6X a new version of SC_WSJTX that handles the additional field that handles the new fields in UDP messages reported by WSJT-X 2.3.0-rc3. Please let me know how it goes...

+ Implementing it would require replacing DXView's in-memory table of active stations (populated with information received from
SpotCollector) with a view of the Spot Database. Not rocket science, but a significant development effort.

Iain: yes i used the above

+ I don't use Open Office, but the "protected cells can not be
modified" error message implies that you either didn't select the data correctly (steps 1b and 1c), or you didn't select the destination cell correctly (step 2a).
i understand that if you know a lot about these things that you can read a direction and know well i need to go to this page instead of this page . as in open paste spc. well it did not say what page this was on 1. the summission or 2 the score page. i guess many know this but
i did not and it took me a bit of time to figure out it was on the summission page and not the score page.

FWIW, I just walked through the documented steps for a 2020 submission
using Apache OpenOffice 4.1.8, and everything worked as expected.
it looks to me and i have done this in my line of work when writting directions . I tend to skip directions about switching from one item to another and take it for granted that the reader should know.
John was nice enought to take care of this for me. now i will try going thru it a few more times and see if i can get it right for a change \
i do want to thank everyone for the help.

Agreed. I'm not sure how the spreadsheets get processed after
submission. It seems that ADIF would make life easier for their
processing too, unless it's all done by human (which may be the case).
