Windows restore is useless in my opinion but Acronis has saved my butt more than once.

No issues here with latest Win10 latest updates and DXL.  I use "ASKWOODY.COM" before uploading any upgrades.  I keep uploads button on hold. I also use Acronis backup.  So, I can rollback.  Do you use Windows Restore?

Reconciling LOTW and DXKeeper

My original DXCC card submission was entered by the ARRL DXCC desk so that I would get band and mode credits which weren't tracked back in 1979. I ran the DXKeeper compare and going through it I found some coding errors made by the DXCC desk. I am not surprised as this was all manual entry, I believe. I could have typed something wrong on the application also. What I is the best way to correct these? Most are just band/mode differences but in one case I got credit for a country I didn't work which would not be a big deal if the country was not on the most wanted list.

" I also filter the contest period and merge into existing log in ClubLog."

This seems like an extra step. Why not just use the Upload button in the Club Log panel of Check progress tab? This will upload any QSO that hasn't been uploaded to CL previously, or has been modified since it was uploaded (e.g. confirmed/verified).

There is no need to filter the log first.

My post contest routine, for populating DXKeeper from my contest results is quick and simple.
1. Export and ADIF from N1MM+
2a. Import that into DXKeeper
2b. Fix any known DXCC discrepancies (e.g. AH2O in NY instead of Guam. The overrides list seems to be taking care of this specific one, but this is just an example.)
3. On the QSL tab, set to LotW, click Add Requested, then click upload.
4. Switch to eQSL.cc, click Add Requested, then click upload
5. On the Check progress tab, click the Upload button for Club Log.
6. Go visit with the XYL and daughter, whom I've barely talked to since Friday afternoon.

Of course if all someone wants is the data in DXK, then they don't need the extra uploads to the QSl services.

Steps 2-5 only take a few minutes and a handful of clicks, no extra filtering required, let DXK do the work. Dave did the work, so you don't have to.

Mike ND9G

There is another scenario: when you are not running a contest, but you are DXing with DXLab and want N1MM to be subordinate to DXLab. I use this scenario to watch N1MM's Spectrum Display while doing general-purpose logging. In this arrangement, you may need to disable some settings in N1MM's Configurer (especially CW keying) to avoid serial port conflicts between the two programs. To make this easy, you can create a custom N1MM .INI file and refer to that INI when when launching N1MM from a shortcut. (in this configuration your QSO's in Commander are not dual-logged in N1MM)

Pathfinder window size

Pathfinder displays the QRZ.com pages for stations.   Some pages are lengthy.   I have more than enough vertical space on that monitor ( I have five running).   However, Pathfinder won't expand vertically beyond a certain point.

Is this some setting that can be changed to allow vertical expansion of the Pathfinder window?

Re: Sync LoTW QSLs

Today I wanted to update my log from LoTW. In the interest of time I opted to do a CTRL Sync LoTW QSLs instead.

+ That's a time-wise expensive operation. Ordinarily, "Sync LoTW QSOs" (without depressing CTRL) is sufficient.

When I did so I got the following result:

+ Attachments aren't conveyed here, so I can't see your result.

The time never decrements and I have to close DXK and restart it.

+ Did you try clicking the Abort button in the "Online QSL Synchronization window?

One time I tried and got another window from DXK saying that it was an invalid request. This is the first time I have tried this. I guess I am doing something wrong but have no idea what that might be. I have some 28000 QSOs in my log. I can update my log from LoTW overnight, but don't know if that will be enough time, and don't think that is necessary.

+ LoTW has not been behaving well of late; the lack of response and "invalid request" may be symptoms of whatever is ailing it.

Re: Addition to New Callsign documentation

Dave AA6YQ

+ AA6YQ comments below

I followed http://www.dxlabsuite.com/dxlabwiki/NewCallsign when setting up my new callsign and found an instance in DXKeeper that wasn't mentioned in the wiki and I thought you might want to consider adding it to the documentation.

Though not a certainty in every case, it's likely that the callbook login information under config/Callbook needs to be updated when the callsign is changed.

+ Added, thanks.

+ Congrats on the new call, Rick!
