Hi Dave. Thank you very much for your prompt response. My apologies as I had a computer crash and did not know if my message was sent so there may be a duplicate message from me. Sorry about that.
I will review your guidance and try again to generate the file. Many thanks for your kind assistance.

Generating PSK31 Report within DX Keeper

Serge Bertuzzo

Hello to the group.

I am looking for some assistance please.

I am looking to generate a ADIF report that only contains PSK31 QSOs from my DX Keeper master file.
I would appreciate it if someone could point me to the appropriate section in the documentation that could assist me.  Please note,  that I  have reviewed the documentation and have been unsuccessful in generating such a report. Clearly I am doing something wrong - no surprise there. :-)

Thanks in advance and keep up the great work on the software. It is greatly appreciated.

In the General config I have Create VFO B at startup and No Split on VFO B transmitting unchecked. That works.

+ Clicking the buttons with up-facing and down-facing black triangles to the immediate left of the frequency display in Commander's Main window will QSY to the next higher or lower amateur band respectively (unless you have "Ham bands only" box unchecked, in which case clicking those buttons will QSY by 1 mHz up or down)

+ There's an array of band change buttons along the bottom of Commander's Bandspread window.

I copy the SOTA reference number and paste it into either the capture window or WW SOTA field.

I would be very happy with your solution. That is exactly what I am looking for!

+ After you copy the SOTA reference, what are you doing with that copy?

+ Would your need be better satisfied by adding a SOTA field to each Spot Database Entry, populating the SOTA field from the Notes field, and populating the Capture window's SOTA item with the contents of a Spot Database Entry's SOTA field when you double-click that Entry?

+ While I'm at it, I would similarly add a POTA field to each Spot Database Entry. There is no POTA item in DXKeeper's Capture window, but double-clicking a Spot Database Entry with a populated POTA field  could place the contents of that POTA field into a user-defined item named POTA in DXKeeper's Capture window, if such a user-defined item exists.

Re: Generating a PSK31 Log Report

Filter the log using the expression (Mode = 'PSK31')
or (Mode like 'PSK*') if you want all (PSK31, PSK63,
PSK125) PSK modes.

After that you can use the Export tab, answer "no" to
the offer to remove the filter, and export only your
PSK31 (or general PSK family) QSOs.

+ To do that, you would

1. filter the Log Page Display to contain only PSK31 QSOs:

<https://www.dxlabsuite.com/dxkeeper/Help/FilterLog.htm#Advanced%20filters>

<https://www.dxlabsuite.com/dxlabwiki/QSOFiltering>

2. Export the QSOs in the Log Page Display to an ADIF file:

<https://www.dxlabsuite.com/dxkeeper/Help/Export.htm>

<https://www.dxlabsuite.com/dxlabwiki/QSOExport>

+Specifically,

1a. click the Adv button on the Main window's "Log QSOs" tab to display the "Advanced Sorts, Filters, and Modifiers" window

1b. in the "Advanced Sorts, Filters, and Modifiers" window's "Mode Filter" panel, uncheck all of the boxes except PSK31, check the PSK31 box, and then click the Filter button on the right

2a. click the Main window's "Export QSOs" tab; when asked If you want the Log Page Display filter removed, click the No button

2b. on the "Export QSOs" tab, set the Options panel to "Export standard ADIF", click the Start button in the lower-left corner of the tab, and use the "ADIF Export" window that appears to specify the file into which you want your PSK31 QSOs exported

This morning I finally resolved the problem. The serial-t0-USB convertor cable had gone bad. I replaced it and the problem went away. I have experienced this previously with the make of cable I was using, although this one had functioned well for at least 15 years. The cable had not been touched since it last functioned properly a few days ago, so either the cable had a bad solder joint (it's a sealed unit, so I can't check it) or something died on the actual circuit board. Regardless, the replacement cable did restore the frequency readout and all is now well.

+ I'm glad that you got it sorted, Jeffrey!

I'm making some changes to my initial command sequences. I want to edit the
"Name" and "Function" boxes in the command but can't do that. I can neither
delete the existing content after highlighting nor over-type it. How do I
edit these descriptions? I've tried restarting, etc. and nothing works.
Rather than waste more time I thought I'd ask. Thanks.

+ Commander provides exactly one initial command sequence. Its name is
+ "Startup" and its Function is "Initial Sequence executed on
startup or XCVR selection". Neither its Name nor its Function can be
changed.

change in RDA award regarding eQSL confirmations

Dave AA6YQ

The 19.07.2020 entry in

<http://rdaward.org/indexeng.htm>

states the following

---------------
Attention!
We stopped taking eQSL for the RDA diploma with 01.08.2020.
You can add new RDA areas before the specified date.
---------------

Thanks to Jerry SM6BZV for bringing this to my attention. Jerry believes that that the announcement means "RDA award submissions
made after 2020-08-01 may not include eQSL confirmations", but that's not consistent with the sentence " You can add new RDA areas
before the specified date." in the above announcement.

If and when the new policy is clarified, I will modify the next version of DXKeeper accordingly.
