i love my spot collector linking wsjt to my dxkeeper log.
here is what I am wondering.
when running.. wsjt will send what it receives to spot collector.. which is ok.
but I want see the cluster spots and not so much what I am receiving.
I disable the wsjt link in spot collector then I cant log to dxkeeper.
hope this make sense. I don't want to see what I am hearing in spot collector.

+ Filter the Spot Database Display with this expression:

network <> 'WSJTX'

+ If you're using other filters, you can incorporate the above expression into them, e.g.

<NEEDFILTER> and (network <> 'WSJTX')

You can do this is a couple of ways.

1. Bulk uploads: http://www.dxlabsuite.com/dxkeeper/Help/Progress.htm#Club%20Log
2. Automatically as QSOs are logged:
http://www.dxlabsuite.com/dxkeeper/Help/QSLConfiguration.htm#Club%20Log
%20Tab

You can also right click on a QSO in the log page display, and choose to upload it, but this is not an efficient way to achieve the results.

Ive been in and out of the hospital twice

+ I'm sorry to hear that, Danny; I hope you're fully recovered.

since was able to last use my digital modes on ts570s/Rigblaster plus, since November and when got home, put on a new CAT cable for one that the the usb serial port had been crushed. Finally got it all corrected today, and now able to get the rig and computer cat control working and able to hear, and see the wsjt waterfall window and also

But, I noticed that I wasnt connecting to qrz.com. For some reason I had to replace my password, before it would work. sigh.

Meanwhile, when I look at the wsjt screen, there appear to be no signals. Lots of parallel lines across it, and occasionally, what appears to be a lot of small vertical lines down at the bottom bu just appears to be noise. No read out of decode signals in the band-activity area. Think I have forgotten more than I thought I knew. Havent had any digital contacts since last September. Am using Lab rig controls as rig in WSJT settings window. So, i went back to WW and tried RTTY signals output, zilch. Please can someone refer me to the online setup and I will start over with WW digital and see if I can get rtty/psk to operate ?

+ All of the setup information is accessible from here:

<https://www.dxlabsuite.com/dxlabwiki/Multimode_Setup>

+ From your description above, I'd check the receiver audio => soundcard connection and configuration first (Windows Mixer, etc.)

I want to correct the QSO begin date in DXK. I normally just backspace then enter the correct date but for some reason backspace is not working.
What is the fix?

+ In the "Main Log QSOs options" panel on the Configuration window's General tab, do you have the "Require Edit to modify logged QSOs" box checked?

I seem to remember you could terminate "some" non-DXLab applications in Windows 7.    Appears not possible in Windows 10, so will quit attempting to do that.

Re: Terminate Non-DX Lab Applications

Since upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 10, I have not found the clue to terminating non-DXlab apps in Launcher. The Windows 10 Task Manager doesn't have an "Applications" tab. I have tried various configurations in the Caption window, but no cigar

+ The Launcher can be configured to start non-DXLab applications, but cannot be configured to terminate them. That's because there is no standard way to convey an "initiate graceful shutdown" directive to Windows applications. Each DXLab application accepts a "initiate graceful shutdown" directive, which is how the Launcher instructs them to terminate.

+ Yes, the Launcher could terminate a non-DXLab application by invoking a Windows API that terminates the application's process, but that could cause the application to lose or corrupt data.

Re: How to undo what I've done

Dave AA6YQ

+ AA6YQ comments below

Yes there is a reason not to upload a QSO, one being some portable operators I know use there home location for all there portable operations even when they are in another state or I just had a casual short QSO with someone local. I keep a record of it but it does not need to go to LOTW.

+ But it does not harm to upload them to LoTW. It is unnecessary for you to avoid an automated solution in order to not upload such QSOs.

I exported an adif file (unfiltered) as a backup to the backup before I try to fix my problem. I noticed that my log has 6238 QSOs but the export only has 6231 QSOs. Where are the 7 Qs and how do I find out what is missing?

+ Was the Log Page Display filtered when you initiated the Export operation?

+ At the bottom of the Main window's "Check Progress" tab, click the Recompute button; this will review every QSO in your log, and mark any that DXKeeper considers "broken". After this operation finishes, click the Broke button in the Filter panel at the bottom of the Main window's "Log QSOs" tab; how many QSOs appear in the Log Page Display?
