Re opened spot collector and it was back at font 9]

Yes, I'm getting 111 discrepancies.

+ My advice is to

1. retain but set aside the 10 "missing country name" error reports

2. resolve all of the discrepancies you can

3. if unresolvable discrepancies remain, assume they are the result of the broken Credits that DXKeeper reported: contact the ARRL's DXCC Desk, and present them with each of the "broken" credit numbers.

I'm getting about 10 QSOs downloaded with this error. Example:

Error: no country specified for card# 572399417L

Do I need to correct my log, and if so how do I find the log entry to correct?

+ That error message means that a DXCC Credit being downloaded from your DXCC Record does not specify a DXCC entity -- which makes the Credit useless.

+ When you direct DXKeeper to run its "DXCC Compare" function, are any discrepancies reported?

Dave, AA6YQ

* more AA6YQ comments below

Away for a bit. Tried this and it didn't seem to work.

* The results you report below indicate that SpotCollector is being prevented from updating the Windows Registry when you change the Spot Database Display font size. No one has ever reported this behavior before. To determine whether interference from an antimalware application is responsible, please do the following:

1. reboot Windows into "Safe Mode with Networking"

2. start SpotCollector

3. increase the Size in the Font panel on the Configuration window's "Spot Database Display" tab

4. terminate SpotCollector

5. start SpotCollector

* Did the change you made in step 3 persist?

73,

Dave, AA6YQ

+ In the Font panel on the left side of the "Spot Database Display" tab of SpotCollector's Configuration window, what is shown as the size?

+ Please do the following:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VB and VBA Program Settings\SpotCollector\Display
