Attempt to connect to LoTW failed: ResponseInfo = Cannot connect (12029)

After using DX Labs successfully on Windows 10 (in a Parallels Virtual Machine running under MacOS High Sierra) I decided to move back to a working installation of DX Labs on Windows XP (in a separate virtual machine). Windows XP uses far less resources than Windows 10. I started Launcher in XP and updated the DX Labs applications. I then started DX Keeper and imported my log file from Windows 10. Everything works perfectly except when I try to sync QSOs or QSLs from LoTW. I can upload QSOs to LoTW just fine but downloading gives me the message "Attempt to connect to LoTW failed: ResponseInfo = Cannot connect (12029)." I consulted the documentation and made sure the issues outlined regarding Internet Explorer were not a problem. Any suggestions where else to look.

Secondary Cat Port

Dave I been wanting to ask this question for a while and keep forgetting.

If you have the Secondary Cat Port set up to let’s say ICOM protocol. And you have 2 or 3 radios set up in commander and you’ve selected radio #3 a Kenwood xceiver for example will commander translate the frequency and whatever other data it deals with to ICOM protocol?

+ Windows XP does not support the HTTPS protocol required to interact with LoTW, or many other web sites.

+ Windows XP is no longer supported by Microsoft. As a result, known-but-uncorrected security defects are exploited by criminals to recruit Windows XP systems into botnets that are used to convey spam, conduct denial-of-service attacks, and infest victim systems with malware -- including ransomware.

+ A machine running Windows XP should not be connected to the internet.

+ The Secondary CAT port can be configured to

1. send frequency and mode updates from the selected Primary transceiver to whatever is connected to the Secondary CAT port (receiver, transceiver, antenna switch, antenna controller, tuner, amplifier, panadaptor, SDR console)

2. convey frequency and mode updates to the selected Primary transceiver from whatever is connected to the Secondary CAT port

3. both 1 and 2 simultaneously

+ Thanks, Julio, I understand your question now.

+ You can have up to 4 Primary transceivers connected to Commander, but only one can be active at any point in time. This is referred to as the "selected" or "current" Primary transceiver.

+ The Secondary CAT port works with the current Primary transceiver. So if your Primary tranceiver #3 is a Kenwood but your Secondary CAT port is set to use the Icom CI-V protocol, that configuration will work correctly. The Secondary CAT port will work with any supported Primary transceiver. For example

Primary transceiver #1: Icom 7800

Primary transceiver #2: Flex 6500

Primary transceiver #3: Icom 7300

Primary transceiver #4: Yaesu FT-1000MP Mark V

Secondary port: connected to a Kenwood TS-2000 and configure to track the primary transceiver's frequency and mode

+ No matter which primary transceiver is selected, the TS-2000 will track its frequency and mode.

+ As previously noted, the Secondary port can be connected to a receiver, a transceiver, an antenna controller, an antenna switch, an antenna tuner, a panadaptor, or an SDR console application.

They have been having issues today, and numerous people have been receiving emails about call sign changes they didn't initiate.

I've read they have an issue with their ULS feed and took things down to sort it out.

DXKeeper, bad import

n1ipa@...

Dave,I would like to get some guidance as to how to go about cleaning up my DXKeeper log.
The issue I have is that I was trying out a different logging program that I had imported my log to.  However, afterworking with that logging software for a few months, I decided that I wanted to get back to DXKeeper.  So at the point I tried to do a export from the other software and import it into DXKeeper that worked ok for the import. However when I went to go a upload to lotw I found out that I had a real issue on my hands.  I have tried to delete some of the incorrect information, however that has been a real mess to work with.
What I found was when the import was done it had taken my complete log book and imported the whole log again.  all the CW and SSB contacts entered fine, just all of my digital stuff from FT8, JT65 and 9 all now say digi for the mode and when I have tried to upload to lotw it gets kicked and I understand that.  However, before I found out what had happened I had entered more into the log into DXKeeper.  Hundred or so.  So when I try to upload I have to go and find the ones that I want to upload in the list and check each one off that needs to be uploaded.  Real pain.
I have started a different log at this time for one group of things that I have been working on and that log is clean.  They are only SSB contacts and should upload just fine when I do that via the separate log file, however at some point I will want to have it working completely again when I start to work on HF again, I have been working VHF and UHF at this time so the log is only showing that for the special log that I am working with.
There are thousands of contacts that need to be removed that show the digi mode and that has been a painful thing to do one at a time.  I have tried to do a few at a time reading the help files, but that wants to delete the whole file from what I can tell.  I have done filtering and get some of them to show up in a list, just the list is not complete and then it wants to delete the whole log file which includes all the good contact that don't need to be removed.
This there a way that I can do this with a better method or a script that can be used to assist in the deleting of these files without affecting the good information?
If you would like more info please contact me off list and I can see about getting you all the correct info that would be needed to do the work.  I just don't know enough about the sql database stuff and I admit that.  So if there is a way that you could point me in the right direction that would be great.
Other wise I will be spending many hours deleting those contacts one at a time.
Please advise if this is something that can be fixed up without alot of time deleting or if it can be done in a batch mode.

Thank you for your time.  Jim

5BWAZ Mixed report by BAND not by Band Mode

In DXK is it possible to generate a report for 5BWAZ that shows the Zones total by band regardless of MODE used.  I want to see the mixed totals by BAND for each zone.  I can't see where to do this.

About my issue with QRZ I sent an email to Support.  Here's what I got back:
----------------------------------------------
Art,

I truly apologize for the confusion.  We had a problem with the FCC update that we ran today and our database was accidentally updated with older information.  Nothing about your callsign has changed in the FCC's database and we will have the QRZ database restored as soon as possible. Until then, we have taken the website offline to avoid any dissemination of misinformation.  Again, we truly apologize for the problem and will be working diligently to fix it as soon as possible.

We thank you for your patience and for your use of the site.

So if you have a problem I'm sure it will be fixed soon.

Re: 5BWAZ Mixed report by BAND not by Band Mode

ND9G Mike

Do you mean like the report you get when you click the Progress button for WAZ on the Check Progress tab?

The top report is the summary for everything (with counts), but there are links to the individual sections, including a mixed mode for each band.

If that isn't what you're looking for, then I'm not sure I understand your question.
