Make sure
- Commander's interrogation is enabled, with an interval of 200 ms - the serial port's RTS is set to "ON" - the radio and Commander are set to the same baud rate - you're using the correct "variety" of serial cable (straight-through vs. null modem) - there are no bent pins Otherwise, there's a hardware problem. 73, Dave, AA6YQ From: dxlab@... Thanks for the errorlog.txt file, Mike. It shows that the SQL filter you
have specified on the Audio Alarm tab of SpotCollector's Configuration window is invalid. Here's an example: (CALLSIGN='EA/DL2DXAP') and (FREQUENCY=18085) and (MODE='CW') and (SPOTTIME=#2017-07-23 10:30:13#) and (k5p) The last two words "and (k5p)" are what makes it invalid; I suggest that you remove them. 73, Dave, AA6YQ

wife uses Explorer to play some POGO games and she did have it. I
downloaded the Adware Removal Tool that Dave references below and
it found 193 pieces of Adware on my wife's computer. I removed
them all and it seems to be working.

Looking through the logs, it appears that all my contacts are logged, all DXCC countries (343) and all 50 states (160-10 meters, and on all modes, are counted, etc. No problems, except for DXView. DXView version 4.3.2 installed. I do not remember doing anything to DXView recently. to cause a problem there. Danny N7DC@...

Re: Commander not closing down from Launcher.
Dave AA6YQ
The DXLab Launcher directs other DXLab applications to terminate by sending them a message via Windows. If the Launcher isn't able to direct Commander to terminate, but Commander does terminate if you click the X button in its Main window's upper-right corner, the Windows may not be conveying the "terminate" message from the Launcher to Commander. Reboot Windows to see if this corrects the situation.
