TX/RX Freq
n3qvb
In the Main Log QSOs, it asks for TX and RX Frequency. Might sound like a stupid question but can I assume since it's my log it's my TX and RX freq's, and not the DX stations? Thanks.

I'd like to add my thanks to Dave for the great suite of programs. I started using the suite in May, 2003 and am very grateful to Dave, and this group, for all of the help and support. I don't think that you'll be able to find a software author who provides any way near the level of support that Dave does, and it's always provided in a helpful way.

Happy Anniversary
Dave,
I'm not sure how many years I have been using DXLabs probably since late 2009 and I can say that it's the best I have used. I have used TRX Manager, DX4WIN, Logic8, HRD and more but DXLabs always comes out on top no matter how much money I spend for other software. So far it is DXLabs that keeps me from switching to Ubuntu there is just nothing like it on the Linux side. Keep up the good work. Richard, KC8RP

Ahh! That's your problem. You need to log on to your ON4KJM/P account using that callsign and the appropriate password which may be the same as for ONKJM. ON4JKM and ON4KJM/P are completely separate accounts even though they may be attached so that they share membership levels and award totals as applicable by the award rules.

Thank you Dave and Rich for your reply and hints.

First, a few answers. Dave, the option " Use each QSO's myQTHID as its QTH Nickname... " is set. Rich The trailing * you spotted is a mail artifact from Dave's mailer. I sent the error message is italic text, Dave's mailer changed it in his reply by enclosing it with a * I checked the following things: 1.- the QSO in DXkeeper (ADI exports) and the APP_EQSL_QTH_NICKNAME is set to "Backyard portable" as expected. 2.- the eQSL account ON4KJM/P has also "Backyard portable" defined as QTH nickname (same spelling and case). Just to be sure, am I correct in assuming that in the eQSL configuration of DXkeeper I only give the username/password of my main eQSL account the /P account is linked to it. I re-read the documentation and this is what I understand. I am very perplex and tempted to create a dummy QSO to verify if the unexpected behavior is general or limited to this particular QSO. 73 Jean-Marc ON4KJM 2012/8/9 Dave AA6YQ <aa6yq@ambersoft.com>

Re: RSS Feed for this Group
Richard B Drake
Not that I'm aware of. It's either open to all or restricted to members only. Of course all new member posts are initially moderated. Meaning that Dave or I must approve their post before sending it on to the entire list. Usually, a new member will be upgraded to free posting after the first couple of legitimate posts. We usually only get a handful of these each day so reading and approving or rejecting them is not a lot of work. However, if we were to open it up to the public there is no telling what we might be letting ourselves in for.
toggle quoted messageShow quoted text
What advantage do you see to RSS feeds that can not be met by direct email? I know I can get my email on just about any device including my Kindle Fire and my Smart Phone. RSS would just be another way of getting the same thing by a different route. 73, Rich - W3ZJ Earl Needham wrote:

NIcknames are not case sensitive. However, I see a discrepancy in the nickname that Jean-Marc posted below "APP_EQSL_QTH_NICKNAME: backyard portable*" . The nickname of the account is "Backyard portable" there is no "*" folowing it.
toggle quoted messageShow quoted text
Jean-Marc, you can create multiple accounts for the call ON4KJM/P as long as there is no overlap in the Callsing/QTH start and end dates. Each account profile should contain the appropriate location information and QSO's must be uploaded to the appropriate account. 73, Rich - W3ZJ Dave AA6YQ wrote:

-----Original Message-----AA6YQ comments below From: dxlab@yahoogroups.com [mailto:dxlab@yahoogroups.com]On Behalf Of Jean-Marc Meessen (ON4KJM) Sent: Thursday, August 09, 2012 4:19 AM To: dxlab@yahoogroups.com Subject: [dxlab] Issue while uploading /P QSO to eQSL.cc Hello, I have an issue when uploading of a particular QSO to eQSLcc Although not a problem for this QSO, I'd like to understand the source of it and how to solve it. Situation: I am using two station callsigns in my DXkeeper DB: one for ON4KJM and one for ON4KJM/P. When using the fixed station (default), I log with myQTH as "Home (1)" and when portable, I set the station to ON4KJM/P and the myQTH to "Backyard portable". I have a linked eQSL account for my /P QSO and was able to upload two QSO already via DXkeeper. Only the DL4HRM QSO upload fails. Symptom: When uploading the QSO I get the error message: *DL4HRM at 29/07/2012 15:10:00 on 40M CW - Error: No match on APP_EQSL_QTH_NICKNAME: backyard portable* Analysis: I see a capitalization missmatch in the myQTH related data in my system. While in myQTH and eQSL QTH nickname) it is defined as "Backyard portable", in the error message and in the eQSL queue, the QTH is indicated as "backyard portable". I think that it went wrong when I corrected the myQTH to align the capitalization between DXkeeper and eQSL. Question 1: Is my hunch correct ? How can I fix this ? I could flag this QSO as no eQSL requested as this ham is not registered in eQSL but I would like to understand. "Use each QSO's myQTHID as its QTH Nickname..." option enabled on the "QSLThat rejection message is coming from eQSL. Jean-Marc, do you have the Configuration" window's eQSL tab? uploaded "QTH Nickname" and the "QTH Nickname" the user has defined inRich W3ZJ, is eQSL.cc seeking an exact (case-sensitive) match between an eQSL.cc? Question 2: Could someone please clarify how I can add an other portable QTH to eQSL (I plan to do some SOTA in the future) ? I understand how it is supposed to work for LOTW. With my current knowledge, I would create an other linked eQSL account for ON4KJM/P but with an other QTH. Is that correct ? 73,Hopefully Rich W3ZJ can help you with this question as well. Dave, AA6YQ
