Well, everything changed. It was running on Win2K, and that machine had a catastrophic mobo failure. (Would not initialize video)

This is on a NEW Dell Studio desktop, running Win7 64bit.

I was thinking a little while ago, airmail only sends info to the radio, so that's probably why it works there.

It depends on how the software uses and controls the port.



Another way of debugging it is to ask, "What changed?"



If everything was working fine before Win 7, then it is something related to
that. Drivers are the most fragile piece of software when upgrading your
operating system because their operation is so tightly coupled with it.
What was your OS before upgrading? XP?
