URM67

I've got an LAA++ arriving next week and have ~8 metres of URM67 coax to make a loop with. Should I just make a 1 meter diameter loop or is there a configuration that will allow me to use all of it?

Hi all. First post. I'm thinking of buying an LAA++. If I make a loop out of coax is the quailty of the coax important or does it not matter? Richard

High Z Antenna Amplifier - intermods
2 messages
Hi, I've just received a pre-owned High Z amplifier which I suspect is faulty. I found a noticable intermod on 198kHz in place of BBC R. 4. I have two local MW TXs on 1197kHz and 999kHz. 1197-999=198.

Hi Chris. What advantage if any would a short 3-5m vertical have using the CCW High-Z amplifier compared to the same vertical using a 49:1 transformer as described by Lankford? Thanks
