This morning we were informed at the Post Office that all Royal Mail international mail and parcel services outgoing from the UK are cancelled until further notice due to a "cyber incident".
The latest news is that this is due to a ransomware attack by the Russia linked Lockbit ransomware gang.
We usually ship all our orders by Royal Mail unless a customer requests a different carrier.
One alternative we can immediately offer to international customers is to ask them to order our products by eBay. eBay also take care of any tax and import duty so it also speeds things up on arrival at Customs.
They use a different carrier unaffected by this incident.
I'll keep watch on the situation but it's unlikely to be resolved quickly.
