Loop ghost signals #chat

Hi Chris,I have noticed on 160 meters and the lower part of the me band I'm getting Lots of ghost signals on my radio with the loop.i first tried it with a one meter loop and also a smaller one.but they are still there.i have turned it to try to null them out but it makes no difference.wich unit did you send me the vlf to hf or the hf version?

Hi Paul,
You didn't say which receiver you are using.
If it is a SDR receiver like the SDRPlay it's very likely that the antenna is over-driving your receiver.
Try turning the RF gain down and see if the spurious signals disappear.
Due to customer demand we only make one version of the Loop Antenna Amplifier ++. This covers from 50 kHz to 150 MHz.

Definitely turn down the gain. I have an RSP1A and I see the same thing. Also very noticeable on MW.
