Which one should I buy for Apartment usage?
Is this still available? I have had the same problem with the HF Active antenna for years. I live about 2 miles (3.2 Km) from the Michigan State University transmit site for WKAR-FM ( 100 Kw on 90.5)

If you are NOT going to use the antenna for VHF, opt for the LF/HF version. 1) The gain is not going to be the limiting factor on what you can hear. Local NOISE -- lots and lots of it - will limit wha

Low cost loop antenna - your thoughts please
How much effect does the diameter of the loop conductor have on it's performance? I was thinking of using something thin and "springy" like piano wire, that could be coiled up into a very compact coil

Am I correct in assuming that electrically this is essentially a small bottom-fed magloop, and would have a figure-8 horizontal dipole-like radiation pattern?
