I would say yes..but it may well lose gain at lf end. try it! Gap between loops circa 3cm. the use of thin wire is to be avoided if you can, but fine to play with. please note, I am no expert on these

Also prehaps it would be better if ccw stated yo get optimum performance from their preamp above 5mhz one would need to use optimisied loops and not a 1m dia loop... however thats not down to me.. Ton

To be fair .. the ccw preamp is a good device. (and as a note most amateur radio operators do not use any active loops for the higher bands..just for the low bands, which is where they really perform
