Re: New Order
Orders have been submitted. I've become more interested in the VLF, LF, & HF and SW listening. The SDR technology is far advanced from the tunable receivers I started with over 50 years ago.
Thanks

Mark,
Good to hear the antenna and Multicoupler are working well for you.
We are just finishing a large batch of Multicouplers so we can take your order.
If you order each item individually I'll

New Order
Chris,
While I haven't finished my radio room project, I have the Broadband Active Antenna up at a temporary spot. It's working great with your multicouplers on my scanners and a new SDRPlay RSPdx.

Re: Upgrade kit not received yet
Hi Guy,
We shipped a kit out to you by letter post but quite a few have gone missing.
I'll send another one today as a small parcel in a padded bag.
Regards,
Chris

Hi Chris,
Would you mind checking to see if my upgrade kit has shipped yet? I requested one in mid-January, for a VLF/HF loop that was purchased and received in December. I sent you a private message

Re: Loop Antenna Amplifier: Indoor Unit box. Why not?
When I designed the Loop Antenna Amplifier it was intended to compete with the MLA-30 loop antenna on price.
To keep the cost down while still keeping the polycarbonate outdoor enclosure I decided to

Re: New enclusures
If you are using a shielded loop then the Loop Antenna Amplifier head unit PCB can be mounted in a shielded metal enclosure. The head unit has two separate grounds separated by a common mode filter.

New enclusures
Chris, I'm planning to use my recently aquired loop outside with a large coax based shielded loop. I'm also planning to remount both PCB's in cast aluminum enclosures which are both just large enough

CCW Vertical Dipole
Chris,
Just a quick note - the vertical dipole is working splendidly on 30m Rx (not too shabby on 160 either).
I've never worked Tx on 30m before, so my project this weekend is to finally cut a dipole

Re: HF Preselector Power
What exact ferrite cores are you using on the leads of the supply you are selling?
How much effect do they have on noise at HF and VHF?

Re: HF Preselector Power
At that current I would be tempted to run a pack of AA cells for the ultimate quiet power supply. I doubt you will find a "modern" power supply as quiet.

Be careful the power supply you get does not create EMI or RF interference noise ... it will kill the signal
