We will find out in the next few days if he will remain there for

ABANDONED VEHICLES

"David W. Anspach" <tmkldwwj@...>

Now on to another subject. I was at a car show on Sunday when I
received a call from my wife. It seems some phine gentleman was
unloading a Crosley in my driveway. She told me that he had the
intention of leaving it there as he had no phurther use for it. I
asked how bad it was and she just laughed. As I hung up the phone, I
began talking to a show attendee who told me a story of a "rusted
hulk" of a Crosley that he had seen just that morning on a trailer in
Northern Pa. The trailer was being towed by a white motor home. He
said the phellow driving looked like an "undernourished Santa
Claus". The pieces of the puzzle of course, phit perfectly. (to be
perfectly truthful, I had talked to Jack about helping him phind a
home phor some more of his surplus) So, thank you Jack, for another
addition to my collection. Does anyone out there need a 51/52
wagon? Body skins aren't too bad, phrame is there along with
wheels. Price is the same as I paid. In phact, if you express any
interest at all you may just wake up one morning and phind it in your
driveway!!! Dennis Wray, where are you???

It's usually not a problem but we were in the back woods of Maine. I
thought I would have access to a phone where we were staying but
didn't and as a back up I figured I would find a public access point
in one of the bigger towns and just didn't get into a town that had any.

I'll work on a better back up solution, before our next trip.

Dave - I will keep William in my prayers for a full recovery. Tell him
thank you for serving our country and that we are behind our service men
and women in the job they are performing. Would he appreciate receiving
cards, letters, or care packages? If he would, let us know where to send
them.

Just to keep everyone informed, my son William was wounded in
action near the shrine in Najaf,Iraq on Tuesday. He sustained 16
shrapnel wounds of both legs and his right arm. By the time you wake
up Saturday morning, he should be in Germany. He will need surgery
to correct some tendon and nerve damage in his right leg, followed by
extensive physical therapy. Present prognosis is for full recovery
in time. His greatest concern right now is for the family of his
good friend Alex Arredondo of Hollywood, Florida. Alex was killed in
action the same day and , if you follow the news, his father (as any
father would) did not take the news well. He requests that you
remember Alex in your prayers. Thank you all for all of your support.

military dist. rotor and cap q's

"babybart1" <babybart1@...>

What is the napa or any id # for the larger dist. cap and rotor?
Are any of these #'s the larger cap and rotor-
AL-25, AL-58, AL-102 which should also be AL-32.
Am I correct in assuming that the larger dist is a military dist?

Also, is the correct # for the rear axle bearing- Fed Mogul 15575-T-
15520.

Does anyone know of a spark plug wire set that is close enough in
length to use? Other than the cut and do it yourself wire kits?

Fairly new at this Crosley stuff, got a 51 CD Wagon in March.
Thrashing to get it ready over the holiday weekend for a meet sept
17th, 18th, 19th up in Buellton.

Thanks for any help!!

2000+ motorcycles ended their Vietnam Veterans run and then, cruising down 5th
St., spotted Orange Car Auto Sales that has a CC sedan on its roof [I only had
my 35 mm print philm dinosaur, so I have to wait phor development and scan to

Free tires and rims

"crosleyhotrod" <truckfireman@...>

Hello from California. I added to the PHOTOS some pics of two (2)
crosley rims and tires that I no longer have a use for. Be aware
they are in VERY rough condition, but the (2) tires do hold air
long enough that you could use them to move your car around the shop
or yard, but i would NOT recommend doing any actual driving on
them. They will slowly lose air after a day or two...They are
listed as FREE TIRES in the photo page. The are (were....) chromed
rims with Yokohoma 6:00 -12 tires with a narrow white wall.
The chrome is very bad, and the tires have cracks in the sidewall.
But I used them to move my car around the yard/shop until I stripped
the car down. These might be good for someone who has that "spare"
crosley out in the back yard they need to keep mobile.... Receiver
will have to pay shipping from Oakhurst, CA 93644, but I'll package
them up for free. If no one replies in the next week or so, they are
going to the junkyard.....Erik
