Yea I noticed that, it apparently was assembled by someone, so it may have some updated parts inside but who knows. With the lowered fan, header and the new crankcase I wonder if it was used in a racing application..

Not sure what your asking. It may be mentioned in the next Quarterly but I included the link. Most people that get the Quarterly will already be members. When renewal time comes around it will be mentioned as an option for renewing. The link to the new Join/Renew page is on the home page of the club web site.

Selling my 51 Super Sports

Hi everyone. I tracked down a 52 Super Sports that was a little closer to being able to show than this one so I’ve decided to let it go. It is on eBay and the item number is 163664865227. All of the pictures and information are in the ad but if you’d like more please do not hesitate to ask here or through eBay. Thanks

Jared

You folks in the PNW have all the good stuff....you're just too far away.  I took the train out to Seattle back in '99 & drove a '54 Kaiser Manhattan home....fun trip but gosh it was long....

To bad you are not close to Royal City, WA.  I have a number of blocks I don’t plan on using.  If you know a trucker that comes this way?  Kent

I'd be interested in a low cost radiator. Doesn't have to be very pretty or even super water tight.  I plan to build a water flow stand using an old motor block & radiator.  I'll be looking for a ciba block too....maybe one that's not useable for running, but can be made water tight.

I and other vendors always seem to have radiators in all conditions from $10 and up at the nationals.  I'll be there with about 4 or 5.

I have always used these quality batteries from Napa

Those batteries may start it and certainly wont hurt the starter,  but you will pop the 6 volt  regulator and 6volt coil will need to be swapped to a 12 volt coil. If the field windings in the generator are swapped for the (late 50s Chrysler products) 12 volt windings and a 12 volt regulator to charge the 12 volt battery. Other ways to get 12 volt is run a 12 volt alternator and regulator with a rv (motor home) 12 volt water pump or  I have used a mid 50s chevy generator (& regulator) that ran a power steering pump and drilled a hole in the shaft to drive the water pump. These type delco generators are a little larger than the Crosley autolites so the bracket has to be ground out a little. Just a couple options to run 12 volt. Note all these 12 volt conversions are for negative grounds.
