Re: Rear Hatch Knob for Station Wagon
Thanks Butch. I hadn't noticed that hole on the side & thought it was just another corrosion pit. A little squirt of penetrating oil & out it came. On a Studebaker lock you have to drill that hole

I initially thought that but the plate doesn’t look like a NY plate. Looked to me like an IL plate.

Car of the month Appears to be a rolling memorial to 911. Possibly owned by a New York crosley member.

Mike,
There is a "pin hole" on the body of the Tee Handle. You must use a very stiff wire (I use large paperclip).

Another question regarding knobs.....how do you remove the lock tumbler from the knob? The key actually fits it works fine.

Anyone have a nice knob & bezel for sale? The one on our wagon is pitted & I'd like to find a better one.

James,
Your note went into my spam folder so just now seeing it. What is your

Re: Width of CC wheels
Pre-Wars switched from 4:25 to 4:50X12 in 1942 but I don’t have information on when the rims changed. The roughly 3.5” wide overall is what PreWar measure and 4” is what PostWar measure but

Re: Width of CC wheels
Hi Mike, I know the prewars I have out here all have the 3.5” overall width on the wheels.
I would imaging the early CC’s may have had these as well.
