Looking at New Home for Online Club
"Jim_Bollman" <Jim@...>
I'm looking into a new home for our online club. Would you be willing
to pay a small $3-10/year fee for a site with no ads but the ones we post. Hopefully a simpler registration and posting process. It isn't completely up and running yet but pretty much all the services we use on Yahoo could be made available including email but no ads mailed to the email, group chats, photo albums, 1 to 1 chats, private message boxes for members, calendar, etc. I'm trying to get a deal so at least some level could remain free. Just looking into some feedback to see if I should go forward or not. Jim... |

Re: Stretched brake cables
"dccrosley" <Crosleydc@...>
Lou,I think the use of common cable adjusters will get your brakes
working again. They are available at any good hardware store.I've also seen them at places like AutoZone,Advance auto parts and places like that.Cheap too! Dave. |

Re: crosley farmoroad
Jim Bollman <Jim@...>
To come up with a price or even get advise on what it is worth you have to be more complete in your description. Look at the condition of the parts. Figure out if any of the hard to find parts are missing. Are any of the accessories included?
Some major things to look for that are unique to the FarmOroad that may be hard to find if they are missing. Windshield with brackets, 4:1 transfer case, rear end, drive shaft and steering gear, Accessories that would increase the value could include any of the farm attachments, front or rear PTO, dual wheels, hydraulics (engine pump and rear draw bar cylinder with control valve), front draw bar, top bows, and the bed (yes the bed was an optional accessory). I probably left out out some things but it is a start. Jim... |

Re: headliners

Sounds like a fair price. Are you happy with the quality and how it matches the original? I have no idea what the "two V shaped boxes with sides" are used for. How large are these V shaped boxes?

Brake cables!
"mrcooby" <x779@...>
Yesterday I learned my '48 CC Station Wagon's brake cables are stretched beyond further usefulness.
Both Dave Edwards Crosley Parts and Service Motors are currently out-of-stock on these cables. (It looks like my existing housings are reuseable, though.) So: any cables for sale out there, or sources for made-up cables? And how long exactly should new cables be? Thanks! Enjoy the weekend. Lou |

Garage construction
"Crosley_AZ" <crosley_az@...>
Some of you folks that visit the chat room(when it works) have asked
me about the progress of my new garage I am having built. The roof is finished and the sides are ready for the application of stucco. Follow the link below. In the album titled "construction" is the lastest pictures. The album "Tonys pictures" there are several pictures as the building goes up. And the album "Harley is 3" is a couple of pics of my youngest grand daughter's birthday party http://photos.yahoo.com/az_crosley Tony Waggoner |

Re: 42 crosley truck prices
Jim Bollman <Jim@...>
We could get a better idea of what you have if you could post some pictures on our photo page. There were several models of trucks available in 42, all rare. Posting the serial number would help verify the year.

DISASSAMBLED IS WORTH I FOUND 1 AND DONT KNOW WHAT TO OFFER THE OWNER FOR IT Re: F-O-R apart: $1500.00 to $2500.00 depending on completeness. What is complete? Does it have: the hydraulic pump, the hydraulic oil tank, front or rear PTO shafts, cast dual wheels, second tranny, PTO transfer case, front or rear hydraulic bumpers, rear dump bed or straight bed, seats or seat frames, rear taillight assembly? These are all parts unique to the Farm-O-Road without them it is far from complete. All of these parts are very hard to find and expensive when located. Hope this helps, Kap |
