Re: Did Crosley sell trailers?
Jim Bollman <Jim@...>
I never saw an answer to this question so I guess I'll take a stab at it. There is currently a Crosley Trailer company.

Crosley Trailers, Inc. US Hwy. 301 S Starke, FL. 32091 (800) 940-8331 (904) 964-3842 I don't know if there is a family connection but no connection to the original company. I think the car company may have made small trailers during the war along with a lot of other things but I'm not sure why I'm remembering that. http://www.ggw.org/~cac/War_Years.html Jim... I have come across a really cute little trailer. It looks like it |

Another Yahoo trick
"bltlar" <bltlar@...>
FYI,
I found out about another Yahoo ploy to track our web habits and Yahoo has already placed a "web beacon" on our computer for those of us who are signed up with Yahoo. Yahoo is using the web beacon to track you around the net & see what you are doing. If you want to opt out of this new marketing ploy by Yahoo, click on the following link http://privacy.yahoo.com/privacy/us/pixels/details.html About halfway down the page, on the right side and in bold, you'll find "Outside the Yahoo! Network." There's a tiny little link that lets you opt-out of their electronic snooping. It says, "Please click here to opt-out." |

HI, my 1952 convertible top has snaps only in the rear, the sides fit
into the rain rail. I believe this is correct as my top was made from the worn out old top. I could be wrong but, thats how mine fits. Thanks, Carlo. x779@... wrote: Who has had good luck with gettng new CC convertible tops? The bigADVERTISEMENT

Convertible tops!
x779@...
Who has had good luck with gettng new CC convertible tops? The big
difference between CC and CD tops is, I believe, the CCs have only front snaps, and the CDs have only side snaps plus the improved front mounting piece. Incidentally, I have a "boot" for my '47 CC convertible. It snaps onto the body when the top is off, and runs across the rear right up to where the oak side railings begin. It's a nice finishing touch. Thought I'd pass that along to whomever wants to make one. Regards.... Jim,
Oops! I'm not sure but maybe I need to apologize. I belong to only two other Yahoo groups (I thought it was more), Hmod and Lotus -cars and since I get individual e-mails I don't see any ads unless it's from our Crosley site. However, if I go to any of my group sites, "all" have ads and I now believe that's what you were referring to. Again, sorry about that. Can you give me an example of a group without the ads? I belong to 20 groups and spot checked more than half of them and all had ads. I have nothing in my configuration that I can find to reduce or remove the ad presents. The Club boards, before they were switched to Groups, didn't have many ads, maybe that is what your remembering.

By the way I'm not making any changes to a paid Group right away if ever. I started looking into alternative sites when YaHoo lost our original club in conversion. All the free ones I have found were either limited in what they offered or had many of the same problems as YaHoo. If I go forward it will be with plenty of notice and some trial runs to see if that is the direction we want to go. Jim... What I find strange is that the other |

AJ,
If you don't find one on this list Dave Edwards or Service Motors will have them. If it is just the small spring clips that hold the bearing in place, they are available also from I believe both of them. Their addresses and Phone numbers can be got off the clubs vendor page. http://www.ggw.org/~cac/PartsSuppliers.html Since you are from North West Ohio don't forget the Crosley National Show in your back yard, July 12th-13th at the Fairgrounds in Wauseon Ohio.
