Thanks for the information.

Re: Wheel Color

It is PPG #8378 for Wimbledon White, Ford code M from the 1960’s. It was the standard white that Ford used for many years.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. I'm new to the forum. I do not have one for sale. I was trying to inquire if any of the manifolds mentioned in the thread previous to my posting were still for sale. I would like to buy one if any are available.

Might get more answers with the question in the body of the message, Assuming you asked because you have one for sale Jim mentioned cast or tubing there is also at least 2 different cast, one goes straight back and it is hard to use in a stock car and one with a turned down end for stock car use. A picture would help even to get an estimate on price because condition will also vary the price.

I have a Braje dual intake manifold. Probably of no use to you, but available.           ...........Jim.

Hey All John here from San Diego. Just picked up a 1947 CC. Very excited. She came with a Braje Intake manifold. Planning on going full out with a fogal supercharger and race cam. I'm in the market for the rest of the Braje parts of anyone has any!

Re: radios

Hey there. John here from SD. The landlord at my shop repairs old car radios of all kinds. I know this is an old post but maybe you still need the help. http://www.radiomanrepair.com/

Re: New Member Car!

Here are more pictures. I had a crack in one of the ears of my Braje intake I had to repair with a little tig welding. She's up and running after 3 days of having her.

Looks like she was a dark green color.
So excited to get moving on this build. I have Bearcat cam on the way that will be heading to Jerry at Schneider Racing Cams.

I got the car from an old land speed racer here in San Diego. He was an Aerospace Engineer who helped with the aerodynamics of the THE TURBINATOR, the World's fastest wheel-driven car @ 503 mph (https://www.teamvesco.com/vesco111.html). He has a 47 Crosley land speed car he still races at the age of 88 driven by a blown flathead engine (pictured). I think he said it does 145 or so! He gave me a bunch of tips on getting the most horsepower possible out of my Crosley engine with period correct race parts. I would love anymore information on the subject if anyone has any!

Enjoy the pics!
John
