Can anyone tell me what the correct wheel color is for a 1951 Crosley Super Station Wagon?
Is it one of the new ones or a cast one?On Mon, May 15, 2023 at 7:50 PM Wetzel Lewis via groups.io <luckylewis2002=yahoo.com@groups.io> wrote:

Hey All John here from San Diego. Just picked up a 1947 CC. Very excited. She came with a Braje Intake manifold. Planning on going full out with a fogal supercharger and race cam. I'm in the market for the rest of the Braje parts of anyone has any!Attachments:
Here are more pictures. I had a crack in one of the ears of my Braje intake I had to repair with a little tig welding. She's up and running after 3 days of having her.
Looks like she was a dark green color.
So excited to get moving on this build. I have Bearcat cam on the way that will be heading to Jerry at Schneider Racing Cams.
I got the car from an old land speed racer here in San Diego. He was an Aerospace Engineer who helped with the aerodynamics of the THE TURBINATOR, the World's fastest wheel-driven car @ 503 mph (https://www.teamvesco.com/vesco111.html). He has a 47 Crosley land speed car he still races at the age of 88 driven by a blown flathead engine (pictured). I think he said it does 145 or so! He gave me a bunch of tips on getting the most horsepower possible out of my Crosley engine with period correct race parts. I would love anymore information on the subject if anyone has any!
Enjoy the pics!

Hey John, looks like a good find. The club website has a lot of info about vendors. And check out the engine lineage detail. Good luck with the build! On Sun, May 14, 2023, 9:31 PM John Moran <johnfmoran4@...> wrote:Hey All John here from San Diego. Just picked up a 1947 CC. Very excited. I appreciate the "heads up" and am looking forward to hearing what you think of the tour. My wife and I are both ham radio operators but don't get to go to Dayton this year. I'll have to keep the WLW tour on the to-do list the next time we go.Don Pitchford, W9EBKOn Tuesday, May 9, 2023, 06:58:27 PM CDT, tri67chop <srcarrasas@...> wrote:I have some "Ham Radio" friends, who are going to take me to the "Tour" of WLW to see the old system that Powell Crosley worked on
