Sorry I forgot to post contact information.  My email address is tcamm9@....  Some sharp-eyed member of the board saw my email address under the post title and now has first dibs on the car.  If the deal falls through I'll let the rest of you know.

Thanks,

Tom Cammack

Is this your vehicle or an ad that you saw? Do you have contact information if it is not yours?

This slide show is excellent. It gave me a chance to see the winners a little slower. When I am calling the winners I am not seeing the screen. Thank you for posting this Jim.

One other item that gives a hint to 1942 is the painted hubcaps but that could have been a cost thing when restoring. As WW-2 rationing started they did a way with chrome. Many things can be mixed up in a restoration.

Re: Engine oil for hot weather.

Sorry for being so late on this, I just returned from the Nationals, where the internet service ranged from lousy, to nonexistent.

I use and advise, 15w40, universal diesel oil. High in detergents, and dispersants and higher in ZDDP.

BTW, ZDDP, is most important for freshly rebuilt engines, during the seating and break-in period. After which, the importance diminishes.
