How can I [PASS RTTY] and [REJECT FT8] on CCC GUI ?
Key word filter cannot do that.

Thank you.

Hi Dai

Sorry, set/noft8 will only work with VE7CC-1 cluster. I will release new cluster version soon that will allow set/noft8.

Dear Lee

Thank you for your hint.

I set on VE7CC-1 with command

SET/FILTER KEYWORD/PASS RTTY
SET/FILTER KEYWORD/REJECT FT8

This may be right.

I hope your new CCC.release.

Thank you !

We also need a filter for FT4. During RTTY contests a lot of spots around
14080 are FT4 spots.

With CC Clusters you can use the keyword filter. If you turn on skimmer spots you really need to do this.
The keyword filter will reject both Skimmer and human generated spots.

You can use the keyword filter to reject FT4, FT8, PSK and CW spots.

SET/FILTER KEYWORD/REJECT CW,FT4,FT-4,FT8,FT-8,PSK

You may include any other words such as "LSB, USB, FOX, HOUND, F/H" if they become a problem.

SET/FILTER KEYWORD/REJ CW,F/H,FOX,FT4,FT-4,FT8,FT-8,HOUND,PSK

The keyword filter can only be set to either PASS or REJECT. You can only have one keyword filter.

Hi Lee,

any update on this ? I am using keywords filter and set/noft8 + set/noft4 with VE7CC-1 but FTx spots still getting through. There are so many these days that they shadow the real stuff I am interested in.

Thank you

Hi Roland.

Your filters appear correct.

If you enter SH/DX you will see unfiltered spots including FT4 and FT8 spots..
To use your filtering you must enter SH/MYDX which means to filter the spots.
SET/RTTY will turn on RTTY spots, if you have turned them off.

Ok Lee, learned something new. So are you saying in order to see my filtered spots I need to issue sh/mydx instead of sh/dx ? Can I make sh/mydx the default in CC User ?
Going to try that right now.

Thanks agn !

Ok got it... Bands/Key --> Missed Spots --- enable My Filter

HB9VQQ-2 de VE7CC-1 19-Jan-2020 1853Z   CCC > (VE7CC-1)
   <- set/ve7cc (VE7CC-1)
   <- sh/mydx/100 (VE7CC-1)

I have a RTTY-onIy setting that I use on the cluster.   I have my filter set to only display human spots and RTTY skimmers in my region and then use the following keyword filter set in the CC-User client:

Keyword Filter set to Pass: RTTY,RY,RYRY

I always use this during RTTY contests.   Works good for me.
