We're excited to dance with you tonight, Wednesday March 23! It was wonderful to see so many of you this past weekend at the Boston Israeli Dance Festival - congratulations to everyone who performed and who put together this wonderful weekend.
Thank you so much to Pazit Lahav for joining us last week as the Community Programmer, as well as for teaching her new circle dance, Chalon Layam! It was so great learning from you and dancing with you on Wednesday.
Important information to note for this week's dancing:
Dancing this Wednesday, March 23, will be at the Stephan F Rutledge VFW in Brookline. $5 admission (students $3). Early partners will be from 7:30 - 8:00 pm; regular session from 8:00 - 10:30 pm; and late partners from 10:30 - 11:00 pm.
Pazit Lahav's new circle dance, Chalon Layam, will be reviewed, and Merav Kaufman will be our Community Programmer. Thank you Pazit for being our Community Programmer last week - Pazit's set was Nipagesh Bachalomot, Pitom Kam Adam, Shuvi Leveitech, Tarbil Tirbach, Yareach, Shemesh Tikanes, and Haboker Ya'ale.
Masks & proof of vaccination required! Boosters are required for anyone whose last shot was more than 6 months ago. We wanted to keep you updated that as rates go down we anticipate being able to be mask optional beginning in April.
As you may have heard, someone who attended Festival this weekend tested positive for COVID on Monday. Out of an abundance of caution, we ask that all dancers who attended Festival events monitor for symptoms and test before coming to dancing tonight. Thank you for your help keeping our community safe!
As a reminder, if you’ve been exposed to someone with COVID-19, please wait to return to dancing until at least 5 days after exposure. If you test positive, please take 10 days off from dancing and take care of yourself!
Looking forward to dancing together tonight, The Rikud Revi’i team
