Amitai Lipton

Hi all,

TL;DR summary:
  • 7/28 at Rutledge VFW Post in Brookline; $5 admission (students $3)
  • Way Back Wednesdays 7.30-8.15pm
  • Special guest teacher: Marcelo Marianoff
  • Proof of vaccination required

Dancing this Wednesday, July 28, 2021, will be in the Stephan F
Rutledge VFW Post #864 hall in Brookline. Directions are below.

7.30pm - Way Back Wednesdays

8.15pm - Regular session of circles, lines, and partners
We are thrilled to have Marcelo Marianoff join us this week as our
special guest teacher! Marcelo, who has worked at Camp Yavneh,
will be running the community program portion of the evening as
well as teaching a few dances and bringing his energy and passion
throughout the night! Thank you to Larry D for helping to make
this happen!

As part of this special celebration, the VFW Post will be opening
their bar for us this evening (cash bar, 21+ only).

10.15-11.00pm - Late partners

There is a $5 admission fee (cash or check only) to cover room rental
expenses. The student admission price is $3.

COVID-19 Protocols: In order to keep the community safe during this
time, we are going to be requiring proof of vaccination against
COVID-19. This means having been fully vaccinated (receiving a second
dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, or first dose of the J & J
vaccine at least two weeks prior to dancing). You can either bring
your vaccination card or a picture of your card to dancing - we will
not record any information from the card, just note that you have
received the vaccination. Additionally, we will not be requiring
dancers to wear masks, though we certainly respect the comfort of
those who choose to. Each dancer will need to sign a waiver as well
(extra copies will be available at the session).

Rikud Revi'i (Wednesday night Israeli Dancing session) is operated by
Greater Boston Israeli Dance, Inc., a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit
organization. We are a 100-percent volunteer organization; every
penny we receive in admissions & donations is used to keep the
session going!
