If you have a solar scope today is the day to look
The sun has it all today in spades. Proms, flares, huge sunspots. and filaments. Best I have seen in ages GO LOOK

Sunspots Monday November 23 2020 2 messages
There are two large sunspots near the eastern limb and three smaller ones on the meridian. It's about time we have some activity. There is also a fairly large prominence on the eastern limb in H-alpha

[VPAS] [BackBayAstro] Return to Coinjock
The place is closing in a couple of weeks. There would be some draw backs for a speculative future ECSP even if KOA would go along with it (not guaranteed at all) and if Kent wanted to even do it, esp

Sigh.................. late night observing report
Mars looked very good Monday night. I was even able to use up to the 1.6mm Vixen eyepiece with the 4 inch in order to get a very fine, sharp, view of the red planet. Mars was very clear around 7 to 9
