Tau Herculids Meteor Shower Last Night 4 messages
Well not spectacular but worth staying up for. Watched from about 12am till 1:30am. I guess I saw one about every 5 minutes. Two were quite nice with some color and a longer duration.

Planetary Nebulae 12 messages
I rolled out the 16" f/6 last night in the very light polluted skies of Virginia Beach. Have any of you seen the illusive planetary nebula NGC 4361 in Corvus? It's an easy target with large telescopes

There are some nice surface details on the sun this morning (May 17, 2022). Here's a quick B&W and color picture I took early morning when the seeing was good.
