it surely is exciting looking at the sun in H Alpha light. A short two hours ago there was nothing in particular going on, and at noon there’s a tall, thin prominence.

There is a "floater" about 8 on my DS 60mm Colorado, looks like a big cloud floating, and nice surface detain amongst the sun spot. DC always looking up.

Sky tools has the separation at 2.4 arc seconds as of 1975. Not sure where it is now. Does 0.4 more than 2 make a difference? I don't know. I might buy 2.4 for 5 magnitudes difference but still one of
