Oh this is Bad news for Chuck Jagow
jimcoble2000
You have chosen poorly. I regret to announce that Chuck Jagow in Colorado is aging faster now than if he stayed here . The double whammy of moving westward and to higher altitude has hastened his, as of yet undetermined, demise due to aging faster. Of course this is in micro seconds but it should serve as a warning to westward migrating astronomers. See attachment. ![]() |

OMG! WHAT HAVE I DONE!
But how do you know if I traveled West? I may have just traveled East but not quite circumnavigated the globe. It’s all relative you know…

Read the attached letter on the testing of Einstein’s theories.
So based on this, every time we flew to Hawaii from Norfolk we aged 117 ns more than if we had stayed home? Every trip to San Diego we aged an additional 78 ns. I made a gazillion Westward bound trips. I wonder how I am going to compensate me for my accelerated aging?

This is so interesting! It's an Antikythera Mechanism for the 21st Century. Thanks for sharing. On Wed, Mar 29, 2023 at 11:09 AM charles jagow <chuck@...> wrote:

I think you’ll win out in the end Chuck! The westward trip is offset due to the fact that you’re at a higher elevation (farther from the center of Earth’s gravity well) and thus aging slightly slower every day due to that fact.

Nay Nay.......................the higher you are the faster time goes . You don't get off easy Chuck, much like the astronauts. I would suggest Death Valley as a possibility. Less snow and a bit warmer too. But even this is no shelter from the second law of thermodynamics which appears inescapable. Entropy increases never decreases. In short we all are screwed! ![]()
