NGC 1857 in Auriga
jimcoble2000
One of the fun clusters in a small scope. It is dominated by the central
red star which hides most of the cluster. When you get there you think
"where is the cluster"? You need to find the right power to reveal the
stars that surround the central red star. This is a lot of fun. I did
this the other night and was going to mention it. |
