FW: Permit # 1760 for Isle of Wight County Parks and Recreation

Jeff Goldstein

Leonids Meteor Shower Permit for Heritage Park (Windsor, VA) shown below this message.

I’ve scheduled our Club Members Only Meteor Shower on November 18 through 19th (10:30 PM through 3:00 AM).

It’s a very dark sky location, and we may consider more events here!  Nice parking, but no bathrooms available unless there’s a Porta-Potty left over from a previous event.

The last park ranger is no longer there, and now we will have much better coordination with the Windsor Police.  Unlike last time we had a problem with the Police letting in Jeff Edmondson from WAVY 10.  Hopefully, Jeff Edmondson will try to be there, again!

Please RSVP on the Night Sky Network site so we’ll know how many will attend:

Event Address:

Heritage Park & Joel C. Bradshaw Fairgrounds
21311 Courthouse Hwy
Windsor, VA 23487

Sincerely,

Jeff Goldstein, BBAA Vice President

I hope everyone will be setup at the end of the trail like last time. That’s where I am setup!
