Roland, Carrollton is covered, with Rich Roberts, Shawn Loescher, and Jeff Goldstein going there. I can send you a couple of PowerPoint presentations that you could tweak any way you desire. I will update them before I send them to you. Sandy Paxson is signed up for having a telescope at Garden Stars, and there may be a few more. I'll let you know more when I send the slide shows. I usually take the PP slide show on a USB thumb drive and use the laptop and projector that they have set up at Norfolk Botanical garden. The presentation is usually done in the Holly Room, and then we go out behind the building to look through telescopes. It is really an enjoyable event, and I'm sure you will do a bang-up job. Thanks. George, I don’t have a telescope, but I think I could handle a PowerPoint presentation. Esp if I’ve got back up from club members. On the other hand, I’ve RSVP’d for STEM night at Carrollton Elem that evening. What is your suggestion. I will follow that. A family issue has come up, and I will be unable to give the presentation at Garden Stars next Thursday, 26 January at 7 pm. Can someone step up and volunteer to give the presentation? So far, at least three other members with two telescopes have signed up to show the sky on the patio behind the building at Norfolk Botanical Garden. We may have one or two more also, so you do not have to bring a telescope. I need someone who can give a brief indoor presentation before the guests go outside to look through telescopes. I have several PowerPoint presentations that you could use. If you volunteer to take the lead, I can send them to you. Please get back to me as soon as you can.
