Fellow Astro-nuts, please tell all your friends and neighbors who might be interested in buying a telescope to come to the Dexcember BBAA meeting. I will be presenting a "buyer's guide" to buying your first telescope. Here is the information to give them: Thinking of buying a telescope for someone for Christmas? DON"T!!! At least, not until you COME TO THE BBAA MEETING on Thursday, December 1st for advice on buying a telescope -- what to consider, traps to look out for, and what is the BEST telescope to buy. The monthly BBAA meeting is at Tidewater Community College, Virginia Beach campus, from 7:30 to 9 pm in Room JC12 of the Science Building on the first Thursday of the month. Everyone is welcome! Please come and find out what to look for in a telescope. Don't miss it!
