Re: Police come for a visit, episode 3
Personally, I wouldn’t try that no ID stuff with Baltimore cops. Wantto spend the night in jail on suspicion? With so much crime around, theycould certainly think of something.

Interesting, Nick. I'm afraid i would have been one of those who would've give my id right away. I even think I did do that once on the colonial parkway. Glad you raised that point. I

Re: There's a Dragon Chasing the ISS- engine bell question
I watched the launch video. Was the second stage engine bell glowing?
I've never seen that before. Didn't rockets designed like the F-1 engines on Saturn V, et al- a la Von Braun have cooling built

There's a Dragon Chasing the ISS
With some luck, we might be able to see this. I saw the Shuttlechasing the ISS and it was memorable! There are two possibilities tonightbut you’ll need a good horizon NW to NE. Don’t know how

Re: Comet C/2012 K1 PANSTARRS
I was able to view (just barely) PANSTARRS w/ my 8" scope from Yorktown, even with the Full Moon. Thanks for the suggestion. Hope to check it out again along with Jacques next new moon. Puppis is too
