Can somebdy build a BitX20 for me?

Bucki <katekebo@...>

I am interested in the BitX20 kit sold by Hendricks QRP Kits, but I don't have the time nor skills to build one. So I am looking for somebody who would be willing to build one for me. Preferably somebody in the USA to keep shipping costs low. I will provide the kit (purchased from Hendricks) and pay all shipping costs plus any reasonable cost for the assembly.

Please let me know if you can help me and how much will you charge me to build the kit for me.

I would volunteer for the job if you don't mind the small extra shipping to
and from western Canada. Very minimal fee, if any.
I have a decent BITX track record.
Email me direct if interested. Bear57@...

Hi Bucki,

I think Lorne woud do a great job for you -- take a look at his nice
pictures of his new homebrew rig! I've shipped a few things to/from
Canada and it isn't too bad if you just do regular First Class postage
and keep the box small in size.

Hope you get a working rig on the air soon!

Thanks Mark. I just noticed my email address may be wrong.
Here is the correct address bear57@...
Not sure if the capital B makes a difference or not. I suspect it may.

Actually,

Lower or uppercase make no difference for email addresses. But good
catch anyway! It's very important for filenames nowadays though as
many servers use linux, beos, or windows whose file systems all now
care about lower and upper cases.

Have a great day everyone!

Many thanks to all those who generously offered to help me with my request. I have received several offers, here in the Group and via direct email. I have contacted the person who will build the BitX20 for me and made the necessary arrangements,

Again, many thanks to all those who offered to help.

I know this is an old thread but thought I would piggyback on to it, since it was the exact topic I needed.

I too am interested in someones help assembling the Bitx20A. I purchased it from Hendricks along with the digital dial. I started assembling it and realized it was a bit beyond my abilities, especially the surface mounted part and winding coils. It is about a third done. Like above I will pay all shipping costs and reasonable assembly fee.

I tried to contact Lorne, VE7BOX directly but the e-mail address only shows as “bear57@…” (no domain portion).

Anyone interested can contact me at mparrott at mindspring dot com.

Thanks
